So Bang Bang underperforms!

Yeh toh hona hi tha. All style no substance was obvious..and with Siddharth Anand, delayed film, it was going to suck anyways.

the director and actors in bang bang had 3 goals:

Actor: i am gonna look so good, so good, that i will win the most pin up guy/gal from all communites.

Actress: i seriously want to top my last 2 performances.

Director: my job is to make a worse movie than Knight and Day!

all 3 ...a solid check mark.

btw..i rooted for this movie the most. after dabangg i felt this trailer was bloody awesome. the songs, the dances, the promos...everything made me drop everything and run to the nearest theater.

so much for eagerly waiting for a movie ...wht waste!

But I am happy the audience is finally telling the stars that they're bored of their films and they should try harder. All big stars' films underperformed this year...except Kick to some extent. Next is HNY which will also bomb badly. That is the only good thing that comes out of this.

The trailer gave me goosebumps, especially the teaser trailer. It was so good and I hoped it would be a really good action movie. Haven't seen the film yet but from what I've read in the reviews, it seems that the script and direction sucked. It had no soul, I guess and made no sense. I wish, instead of focusing on the actors' looks, top notch action scenes and beautiful cinematography and just the "coolness" in general, they should have worked on the script. The script is always KING, aaalways. Or maybe they should have made it only 2 hours long. I heard it needed some serious editing.

Whatever it is, I don't think it's worse than Kick and HNY.
HNY looks horrible and Kick is the usual Salman stuff which I'm not a fan of to begin with.

I went through a see-saw

when i saw the songs, i was like - eh! ... hrithik is just doing the "check me out, i'm so cool" thing

when the full promo came out a week before release - i was like... yes yes yes! dhoom 2 on steroids ... lets go!

but when i finally saw the film - meh! ... style marne se phursat nahin mil rahi kisiko - na actor, na director

Is it declared hit/semi-hit/average etc yet?

^^^^ i hardly think that one/ two movie not doing well is going to change their ego ... that ego which drives the movie instead of the actual story

All three khans + akshay + hrithik have been doing such shitty movies for the past 2-3 years ...its actually the younger lot that is doing thr interesting roles
