Kriti Sanon Bags The Lead Role In Chetan Bhagat's 'Half Girlfriend'?!

Kriti Sanon's appearance at Chetan Bhagat's book launch with Ekta Kapoor and Mohit Suri confirmed that she will be playing the lead female protagonist in the filmi adaptation of Half Girlfriend. However, the suspense around its male lead is still intact. If sources are to be believed, then supposed rivals Ranbir Kapoor and Ranveer Singh have been approached for the coveted role.

Alia Bhatt was earlier considered for Kriti Sanon's role. However, there isn't any clarity on why the Student Of The Year actress is not doing the film. Well, if either of these leading men would accept the offer, it would be interesting to see their fresh pairing with the Heropanti actress, hai na?

Kriti Sanon launched the new Chetan Bhagat novel alongside with Ekta Kapoor and Mohit Surit. She was wearing an ensemble from the special Masaba collection that was inspired by the new book.
