Aliya insults Bulbul and her family in front the chawl after which people starts gossiping about Bulbul and Purab. He goes to meet Bulbul where he gets to know about Aliya insulted Bulbul again.
Abhi saves the kumkum bhagya hall. Pragya thanks him to help her mother which makes him feel bad. Tanu and Aliya gets furious on seeing the closeness of Abhi and Pragya.
Tanu :Aliya but I want that Pragya out of Abhi's life
Aliya : I know even I want that but you know dadi will never let that happen
Tanu : I dont' care but I had enough of this drama
Tanu comes up with a plan which is separate Abhi and Pragya forever. She tells this to Aliya which makes her relieved. Purab is trying to call Bulbul ignores his calls after remembering the insult.

Pragya : Thank you
Abhi : I didn't do this for you, I did this because of my dadi and your mom
Tanu calls Abhi to meet him at her house immediately. Abhi rushes to her house which makes Pragya worried and she follows Abhi.
Abhi ; Whats wrong?
Tanu : Abhi I am pregnant
Abhi gets shocked as well as Pragya. He gets confused how will he face his family.
Abhi : how did this happen?
Tanu : I don't know how did it happen but you to tell everybody about us
Abhi : How will I tell everybody? Dadi will kill me when she will find out
Pragya is standing freezed not knowing what to do. She finally decides to leaves everything as she will get nothing but pain in this marriage. Abhi realizes pragya heard everything and goes after her. Pragya starts packing her bags angrily.
Abhi : Pragya, listen to me
Pragya : Why should I, I have been listening to you from so many days, you raised finger on my character and what you did,
Abhi is listening and remembers how he insulted Pragya.
Abhi ; Why are you packing your bags where are you going?
Pragya : Thats none of your business, and as far as my mom is concerned I will explain her, so you just worry about you and your tanu now
Abhi holds Pragya's hand to stop her but she jerks it off. Dadi sees Pragya leaving and asks her to which she tells Dadi everything.
Dadi : I will not stop you because I lost that right now
Pragya : No dadi, you wanted me to work this marriage but your grandson does not want to stay in this marriage. The love and respect you gave me I cannot repay it back.
Dadi goes forward and slaps him.
Dadi : Today you proved that I lacked in my upbringing, don't talk to me from today
Abhi : Dadi please listen
Dadi : Enough, you ruined an innocent girl's life for Aliya's obsession
Pragya : You did an favor on me and my mother by saving our, today I am returning this favor by freeing you, I don't take anybody's favor in my life (removes the manglasutra). Gives to Abhi on his hand
Everybody is shocked to see Pragya's state.

Scene shifts to Purab's house
Chachi : Is this your final decision?
Purab : Yes aunt, I will leave Bulbul for her happiness, I cannot bear her humiliation
Chachi : How will you live without her
Purab : I will stay with our memories maybe I will never be able to forget her, I am going to New york tonight
Chachi : Take care Purab
Pragya meets Purab on the way to her home.
Purab : I am really sorry for everything Di, I know what happened was my fault, thats why I am going far away from this place
Pragya : I don't care what happened because it was my destiny
Both of leaves to their destination. Pragya informs her family about the situation.
Sarla : I am proud of your decision, but what have you decided now
Pragya : I have got a new job in Shimla I will try to do the transfer in Mumbai.
Dadi : Take care Pragya
Sarla : Call me everyday okay?
Pragya : Okay ma
Purvi : When are you leaving di?
Pragya : I will today evening
Sarla : Let me pack everything for you
Purab barges into Abhi's house to tell him the truth before leaving.
Abhi : You?
Purab : I came here to tell you the truth
Abhi : What truth?
Purab : The misunderstanding you have regarding Pragya di, she was the one who told me to marry Aliya instead of Bulbul. I agree I made a mistake by not telling you about Bulbul. Did you ever bother to ask about my feelings. you never understood me, and Pragya di did not make me run away
Everybody is astonished to hear it.
Dadi : I told you that Pragya can never do this but you, there is still time, bring her back.
Purab leaves from the house. Aliya informs Tanu everything. Both decides to get rid of Pragya.
