Hussain is crying but Ruq is unable to make him stop and trying all type of tricks two other Begums came and tell her that if a child does not stop it is the fault of who is carrying him and looks like he has already recognized the smell of his mother,Take him to his mother and Ruq shouts at them and gives them right and left saying she is this childs mother not Jodha begum and asks them to leave at once and never come to her both are scared and they go. Then again they try and the child refuses to keep quiet despite Hosiyar singing and again Ruq 😡😡starts scolding Hosiyar. All this sound and shouts must be making the child very irritable and he must be missing his mother. All are sitting SH both Jodha and Ruq and members of the immediate family Hakim sahiba says these children need more care then the other children. The baby with Jo is quiet but the one with Ruq is crying. HB says the children need to be examined by the Hakima. Jodha gets up and says I am happy you all are concerned about my children and after what happened with MA I want to bring up my children on my own I don't want any Daima. SH is pleased and asks can you do it and she says a mother can look after her children and it will bring happiness to both and also take care of the safety.The baby with Ruq is continuously crying . HB supports Jodha and SH asks what about you Ruq she says she needs a Daima . Jo can no longer see her son crying she comes and takes him and immediately she pats him and he is quiet . All look happy Ruq jealous . Jo says I know this child is yours but don't keep a daima look after him yourself. Ruq says I need a Daima as he needs milk .Jo offers herself as his Daima but Mean Ruq does not allow Jodha to become Daima of Hussain as she does not want any bond between Jo and her child . And she wants his Daima changed after every 6 months so that he does not bond with any other woman then herself.She asks GB to search for a Daima by evening and she assures she will find one by evening. Jalal observes all this and looks at the expressions of the tearful Jodha.

SD his father and Maulvis are sitting and discussing about Jajiya and SH saying he has forgotten and one of the men says this way the Hindus will become more powerful SD's dad says all this will make a difference and there will be less collections which will affect our income and others says they wont work for less income. They all start discussing that they will put this in front of SH in the durbar some say he wont listen others say he will have to listen and just then his daughter starts crying and then the sound disturbs all of them . All and SD's father say go and quieten the child. When he goes in he finds no one and tries to quietens it she starts crying more loudly. He starts scolding and about to beat just then BB comes and asks him what he is trying to do. She tries to tell him that the baby was sleeping and she went to do some work then tell him she must be hungry that is why she is crying but angry SD tries to hit BB then stops and goes saying your daughter and BB says its your daughter too making him more mad warns her and goes and she hastens to cajole the baby.

Jodha is in her hojra cootchie coos to her son and dressing him up with Moti smiling and feeds him his medicine and gets sad remembering her other baby and gives calls Hosiyar to take the medicine to give to Ruq for the baby.SH comes and both bit sad but trying to smile and he says don't worry Ruq Begum will look after him well both play with the baby. A Bandi comes and tells SH that Mirza Quasim and his Begun Zeenat have come from Lahore and want to meet him . SH looks pleased and tells bandi to inform Man Singh to take care of them and take them to the guest house he will shortly join and then after she goes he asks Jo to come with him and goes.

SH with his whole family and children goes and welcomes his cousin brother and his wife after Man Singh receives them and brings to the guest house and says you have come at a great time when I became a father his cousin smiles and all sit. SB GB and HB take turns to greet Zeenat. All sit and Quasim says your children are very good looking they have got your and Uncle Humuyan's good looks Jalal says they suffered a lot when they were born and I don't want to let any suffering come near them. His cousin says whether it's a king or a common man all want to protect their children. . Quasim says he has also a child and his wife is a great mother. He gives some gifts to his nephews. Zeenat comes and praises Jodha begum how well she molded herself in the Mughal household even though she was a Rajvanshi and she says why not as I am a DIL of this household with both Jalal and HB beaming at her answer. GB says JB can look after well but Ruq needs a Daima and Zeenat says we should trust a Daima more than yourself .
