Pushkar (Naman Shaw) of Kasamh Se started wearing an evil eye around his neck -- and it's brought him luck, in the form of more work.
"I bought it in Turkey when we were out shopping for," Naman said, "Ekta and some of the others were interested in it so I also bought one."

He hastened to add that Ekta Kapoor, his boss had "never advised anyone to do so, but most of her actors wear it."
The blue and black charm is worn on a black thread and Naman says "it looks good so I wore it!"
"It proved profitable for I got a new show after I began wearing it.
I'm entering Kasauti Zindagii Kay very soon, Naman said.
He will play a role opposite P2 (Kartika Sehgal) in the show. "It is a nice character, an NRI from the US. My name is Ranvir and he's a little brutish," said Naman, "but not bad!"
He starts shooting for new role from Friday. "I think the episode will be aired next week," he said.
Naman had worn the charm, which wards off evil rather than attracts it, despite its name, first for Kasamh Se, when he was made-over for the show. However, he's chosen to stick with it even for his new role.
"I do not believe in astrology and that sort of thing," he said, "But if someone tells me to wear something and take particular care of it, I do that."
"What effect this may have I cannot say, but so far it's proved profitable for me!"
Naman is doing three Balaji shows and this will be his fourth: he plays Nakul in Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, Pushkar in Kasamh Se, and Girish in Kasturi.
