We are here to convey our happiness to Sandhya for giving us the wonderful opportunity to go through her maiden work...

Her Arnav and Khushi along with the rest of the characters are etched in our mind...

It is said when you listen to a story...if you don't feel it you won't remember it...
How very true...
Their bumpy road to bliss was ours too while we were reading it...
Her words had made us smile, laugh, cry and agonize along with the characters...
For, words are how we think and stories are how we link...

The ingredients of a compelling storyteller were all on display... Restoring order with imagination.. Instilling hope again and again...
and of course Shadow Singh Raizada...

DND is a great story that transformed day to day living, making us delve into the depths of the love of Arnav and Khushi... heartbreaks, laughter, joys, sorrows, betrayal, acceptance, perseverance, will power to overcome the dark, abuse and rise above the past baggage became a part of the day... a story where events took the form of changing the track and make us say... Life is like this!

Hope your art of story telling that had a wonderful beginning never stops.

and this is what your story has...

As Rumi says...

Sandhya... We love you and your storytelling that has led us to broaden our minds, engage, provoke, inspire and ultimately connect us...

So Sandhya... Do accept our heartfelt appreciation for your tremendous effort, the story that you have carried with great elan...
By the way...

😆

Sandhya, thank you for giving us such a wonderful story. I still can't believe it's your first attempt at fiction! But not your last I was happy to read.

This dawn should see no dusk but continue burning our senses in the heat of noon.

As much as loving DND, I've been disarmed by the way you've interacted with me. Each and every time. However inane or random the point I've inflicted on you! Your warmth and your respect for your readers is very apparent.

So, take a break but remember we'll be counting inteezaar ke pal ... hamesha!

Rashmi, thank you for opening this thread and for your lovely post :)

First thanks a lot Rashmi for this Appreciating thread. I agree with each and every word written by Rashmi.. DND was one of best stories i read.. Thanks a ton for DND Sandhya. I still remember the emotional mess i have felt when Arnav have broken up with khushi on that terrace i was so heart broken and i really cried and felt pain of not only khushi even of arnav as i knew he is trying to be something which he is not and is hurting himself with khushi.. well alongwith sad times i have enjoyed all those beautiful moments of friendship of Khushi, Pal, Ana, moments when love was blooming between ARSHI, Raizada family, anjali-shyam wedding, mamiji's hurt word for payal, akash-payal, aman-ana love stories, then the painful period of ARSHI separation, pal & ana's hatred for arnav, arnav-khushi's painful days, khushi returning after five years with nk was shocking like arnav i was like God khushi have moved on and what will happen of arnav our self made God, i was so angry with khushi i can't tell you.. but like every time hamare ARSHI aamne saamne ho aur sparks yani phuljhari na jale ho hi nahi sakta.. unke pyaar ki phuljari phir jali.. 😃 then ana-aman wedding, coming out of the biggest secret of the story which Sandhya had very nice maintained till end from prologue the lady with baby was Garima and that baby boy was arnav, again ARSHI who had started giving each other some time i felt that nobody can bring them together now however the way they both dealt with their past and their secret about their birth was surprise and a very happy surprise this brought them together and ARSHI again becoming one.. wow loved the story so much.. i can still narrate any incident from it without taking a second to remember it as this story is CHAPP GAYI HAI MERE DIL-DIMAAG MEIN.. 😊 once again mind blowing story and thanks Sandhya. Best wishes buddy. 👍🏼 ok sorry i missed shadow singh raizada yaar how can i.. love him and miss him too with entire DND and mainly ARSHI..

Choices... Choices...
DND is about choices...

Choices a young boy makes
Choices a young mother makes
Choice a wronged wife makes
Choice an experienced Naani makes

Choices three lonely girls make
Choices three orphaned siblings make
Choices the grownups every time make
Choices the little pug make

Choices that our Sandya made
Choosing to present DND her way
Choosing a path seldom traveled
Choosing all twist and turns that raveled

Choices we readers made
Choosing to read this beautiful journey
Choosing to stick to it for the duration
Choosing is not an option when enjoying each chapter

Choices that is hard not to make
Choosing to laugh and cry through this journey
Choosing to agree and argue with the choices
Choosing to bang head and live in dreamland

Choices that is impossible to ignore
Choosing to love and hate Our Arnav
Choosing to adore and cherish his Khushi
Choosing to understand and appreciate all

Choices that is made out of love
Choosing to say thank you for DND
Choosing to show what DND means to us
Choosing to be grateful we are part of DND

thank u for making this appreciation thread and thanks loads for the pm:)
i loved ur post and it summarises the wonderful journey we all had with sandhya. but i would still like to add few of my words to show sandhya how much she and her work has been loved, appreciated and read over many times

DND was not only a fiction but it had become a habit and i used to look forward to sandhya's update every week, for me personally it was like a stress buster. DND was a realistic love story because there was no sweetening or softening of the situations. it gave its readers a view of situations that does happen in the real lives. n i loved the fact that every members of this story was given the same importance and they were potrayed in such a way that their presence helped the storyline and make us readers understand the circumstances better

as for arnav and khushi, i think words cant be enough to express wat they are to us and sandhya is among one of the awesome authors that helped keep them alives in our hearts and brighten our days through her writtings. every update was like a wonderful walk down the memory line. n i simply adore the mind blowing ending she gave to this one of a kind love story. despite all their misunderstandings, sufferings, pain, anger, heartache, arnav and khushi were reunited for good just like they were meant to be. sandhya also showed how much a son can love his mother, how much siblings are important to each other and most importantly how bonds of hearts are sometimes more stronger and important than ties of blood.

so sandhya take a bow for this outstanding and beautiful piece of work. enjoy all the love and appreciation u are getting because u totally deserve them. n hopefully we ll get to enjoy a new story from u soon. take care and all the best for everything:))))👏👏👏

with loads of love and best wishes, deepa

Thanks for marking this post. It was a well deserved post indeed,

Sandhya, you weave magic in your words and leave us wanting for more, each scene is important and you leave your readers for more. It was such a beautiful journey of Arnav and Khushi! the prologue was so intriguing and it captivates you. Initially everyone thinks that the mother is Khushi and the baby is probably Arnav's but the twist was too good. You always left us banging our heads wanting to know what is gonna happen next, it was just too provoking. I loved it, thanks for giving us such a gripping story. I remember when NK entered the story, and the scenes between me and Khushi made me think that I should leave a gap between reading the updates. I am one of those people who won't bear Arnav and Khushi being with anyone else, but I feel so happy that I continued, I would have missed such a great piece of work.

I loved each or the characters and they all had an important role to play. Each person was just too important, this is one of those stories which I am waiting to read again in my leisure.

Sandhya please give us another story.
