That's what I mean. Aahil is NOT 18 in the flash backs. That's why the 12 years is incorrect math. This points to the 12 years' number being wrong. More so than him being 30 presently. If they wanted they could've made the leap 22 years, Tanveer killing the Nawab 20 years ago, with Aahil around 10 at the time...Tanveer serves 20 years in prison. But even then, 10 is being generous for flashback Aahil. So fudge the numbers a bit more and it makes some more sense.
This would go well with the reports that that it was a 22 year leap,
(I thought it was the twins' third birthday party)
But okay, it was 20 years, and Sanam is 22 now.
And the character of Aahil wouldn't work as a 25-year-old either. He would have to be in his late-twenties at the least. But I think it makes more sense for Aahil to be 30. A deadline such as the one made in the will would not make much sense if it were to be before his 30th birthday.
It would have made sense for 22 year leap. Sanam would be 24-25 too. Her "late" marriage could be explained by the fact that she wanted to set up the dhabba and take care of her family before getting married.
Not that I have a problem with 8-year or 10-year or any such gap. 23 is fine with me, since she is not a kid. 20 and above, I don't care about if it's 5, 6, 7, 8, 10.
