The next morning Heer got to the office extra early. She called the tow company and set up a time for them to pick up her car and take it to the auto body shop. She'd forgotten all about her broken car until she realized she didn't have a ride this morning. Catching the first taxi she could, she made it down to the office.

Her 2 main reasons for getting to the office so early: 1. she had tonnes of files pending that she wanted to get done. And 2. she was still pretty embarrassed that Prem found out her nick name for him and didn't know how to face him. She sighed, this wasn't the time to be lost in thought of Prem, and she had to finish her work. "Alright Heer, thinking about Mr. Sexy isn't going to finish these files any faster. Time to get to work!" she told herself.

It was lunch time when Heer finished most of her files. She very impressed with herself. She decided to go for lunch. Picking up her bag she headed out the cabin to find Veera. She definitely didn't expect to see Veera chatting with Prem by her cabin door. Not wanting to face Prem just yet, Heer wondered whether she should just go back to her cabin.

Too late.

"Hey Heer!"Veera greeted cheerily.

"Hey Vee, Mr. Juneja" Heer smiled awkwardly.

"Hello," Prem smirked. "Ready for tonight's meeting Miss. Mann," he emphasized.

"Of course Mr. Juneja. I'm as ready as I ever will be." Heer countered back.

"Good," Prem's smirk grew. "You better be ready, you've had an extra day."

Heer glared, " Sorry sir, are you implying I'm usually not prepared for things?"

"Sometimes things happen, and they completely throw us off our feet...no matter much we've prepared for it," he said softly looking into Heer's eyes.

Heer stared back until, Veera cleared her throat.

Heer looked away clearly annoyed at herself for staring so shamelessly at her boss, in the office! Prem turned his gaze to the floor mumbling an excuse and walking away.

Veera followed Heer into her cabin and looked at her best friend with a suspicious smile. "So what was that back there? I thought I was going to have heat stroke."

"What are you blabbing about Vee?" Heer opened her lunch box and began eating

"You and Mr. Sexy!! What the hell was that? You guys were...dare I say...Flirting?!! That is if you can call it that."

Heer looked at her guilty, "I got to fill you in on some minor details."

Prem walked around the entire office grinning like he won the lottery. He loved teasing Heer. The way her eyes got bigger, or the way her hand start to fiddle with the edge of her shirt. Prem especially loved it when Heer made shots back at him. The feistiness made him sigh dreamily.

"MINOR DETAILS??!!" Veera yelled.

"Stop yelling," heer shushed.

"No! Way! In! Hell! OH wow. SO that confirms it Heer. He does like you!" Veera exclaimed jumping up.

"Will you relax," Heer said. "That great and all. But he's my boss Veera."

"So? I know you like him. Heer don't you dare turn him away. He really cares for you. I've been working for him for the past 4 years. I've never seen him the way he is before. He's happy, smiling, laughing. I know it's because of you. You think you don't understand him, but I think you understand him more than you give yourself credit for.

"I never said I liked him."

"You never denied it either."

There was silence between them as Heer thought about what Veera told her.

"Ask yourself Heer. Does he make you happy?" Veera asked softly. Not waiting to hear Heer's answer she walked out the door.

Veera saw Prem standing around a group of interns. He was smiling, and laughing. He had a twinkle in his eye she never seen before. She had to do something. Her friend was hopeless in this matter, and her boss seemed just as clueless. Sighing she decided to do something about it.

1:03pm, Prem finally walked into his cabin after a great lunch break. He had wonderful people working in his office. They were very insightful and honest workers. He sat on his favorite chair and faced the computer when the door burst open.

"Sorry for bursting in like this." Veera began. Closing the door behind her, she sat on the chair directly in front of Prem. "I have something very important to tell you."

"Miss. Rampal, is everything alright?" Prem asked concerned.

"How do I begin?" she paused. "She likes you too."

Prem was taken aback, "excuse me?"

"Heer, she likes you too. Yeah, I know what happened last night," Veer explained when she saw Prem open his mouth.

"Miss. Rampal, I don't believe this is appropriate to talk about. This is between me and Miss. Mann."

"If it's between the two of you, maybe you should do something about that," Veera countered back.

He silently studied her then, softly asked her, " I'm at a loss at how to deal with this. What do I say? I can't even tell her how much I care about her. When she didn't pick up any of my calls yesterday my heart just about stopped."

"What do you mean?"

"I was the one who moved the meeting to tonight. Because I was going to her house. I thought she need my help," Prem confessed

Veera softly smiled, "you did that?! Why haven't you told her?

Prem looked at her incredulously, "I can't exactly go to her and just tell her. Besides, I don't really want her to know anyway."

"Why not?" Veera sighed deeply.

"I don't know..." Prem trailed off. Prem looked at Veera, "What do I do?"

Veera smiled mischievously, "Well, now we're talking aren't we."

"What are you smiling about?" Heer asked grumpily.

Veera was driving her home with a wide grin, "oh nothing. Heer, you think too much."

Heer threw her an uneasy glance. What is going in that head of hers?' She closed her eyes and leaned into the seat hoping to ease her busy mind.
