Without getting too technical ... Jodha and Jalal have become proud parents of two bouncing baby boys. Yes, they were supposed to be a month early. But looking at the parents, I forgot about the babies. The biggest kids on the block are JJ themselves. One totally exhausted but glowing, one totally a kid...Completely lost in the moment and enjoying it to the fullest because...one must grab every chance at happiness. This is happiness that something taken of themselves has been moulded and gifted to them in double measure. All the wonder and awe that new parents have. When they come face to face with the new person(s) in their lives. For the babies, Jodha and Jalal are their entire world for this episode at least. Special mentions to Paridhi and Rajat for bringing this to life in the most endearing way. I couldn't drag my eyes off them for more than a second. Because we all know how momentous this event is, how much it means to them and to us who have had to battle through more than our fair share of drama and frustration. Good things come to those who wait. Good things come in the smallest packages, when talking about Ekta shows. So JJ are being pragmatic and are focused on this.
Now...I don't know how much footage was shot, but the scenes we got were really quite exquisite to behold - especially when you freeze frames. Some thought has gone into all the camera angles. Just goes to show how much I take for granted when I whiz through the episode at break neck speed. There's a lot of work involved in shooting this. My favorites are the cradles and then of course the whole family together and alone from the rest of the world.
What can I say about the parents and bubs. Every frame brimmed with a special bonding. Papa Jalal was so full of joy, I couldn't get him to be still enough for more than two frames. And I thought I should add in some others like Hamida in the mix... but I didn't have the heart to interrupt ...Who needs cradles and nannies when Jalal single handedly keeps the twins happy in his arms...with a little help from Jodha, of course. Jodha on the other hand was serene in every frame. A complete mother in every sense. One touch from her and papa and twins all calm down together. That last frame you see in the VM - you may notice Jalal is not quite still...ever so slight blurring and movement. But Jodha only moved her hand towards Hassan? Hussein? to complete the peace.
