I like NAKUL better , because of the slightly sad streak he has got ( not cry baby kind without a backbone or mama's boy kind ) in his persona that he expresses through anger ( this anger is really very complex, that stems out of being emotionally and economically deprived of in life, its kind of sorrow in disguise of anger which says he needs deep comforting but wont accept so...
the pain of discovering not knowing who he is the real son of to being with a very subservient position in a family where all enjoy luxury ( i again ask, where is tulsi's sense of justice n equality here) has made him take a gloomier approach and perception of life and become rude and bitter...manthan's character though cool and not irritating like other soapy soapy once, its not that emotionally complex or catchy, normally though not bad hearted all manthan does is mostly throw his ego around , but even nakul's bitterness is lovable and demands affection because of the inherent nature of emotional depth and need attached to it.
I loved his complex dialogue to sanchi when he answers sanchi ( sanchi asks him why he is so bitter always) - jo har waqt jindagi se jahar piya ho us main meethas kaise ayegi...who has gotten bitTerness and poison from life how can he be honey sweet?
That was touching, his character reminds me of the 70s angry young man image started by Amitabh ( if you hAve seen Shakti, he was too emotionally complex as he didn't get father's love ) and carried out till 80s.
anyone who feels so or finds i have a point?
