Aditya was born in Kolhapur on 10 April 1984. He enrolled at St. Xaviers and later at Symbiosis International University.. He is married to Natasha Sharma, his co-star from Na Aana Is Des Laado.

Aditya after graduation, he joined a local television channel as an editor and graphic designer. After working for a couple of years inMumbai, he joined a concept group in Dubai in charge of graphics for corporate ads.

Aditya Redij began his career with modelling with Fashion Week 2008 in Dubai, which was the concept of the organisation where he worked. Redij also headed the post production for Dubai Fashion Week 2008 where he walked the ramp. He was portrayed in various dresses, ranging from the Indian look to a stylish look.

He made his television acting debut with a daily soap opera Na Aana Is Des Laado, which focussed on female infanticide and the confining rules of male-dominated society. Redij played Raghav in the show. He also acted in some movies in differentIndian languages, including Zabardast (Marathi) and Jalsa (Telugu). He starred in another lead role in NDTV Imagine's showSawaare Sabke Sapne Preeto as Rajbeer Singh. another he is seen as lead Prithvi in Junoon - Aisi Nafrat Toh Kaisa Ishqon Life OK.

Now He is seen lead Forest Ranger as Mahesh in Bandhan...Saari Umar Humein Sange Rahna Hai.
