Sonam HATE Deepika (read dislike for the sensitive minds 😆) and this is no secret even if she denies it, very evident from all of sonam's statements against her.
There are major reasons (well not excuses but I guess Sonam did not took these facts and realities positively, and instead working on her shortcomings, endedup making all those statements against her):
Major reasons being:
1. Both debuted at the same time. Deepika despite being an outsider totally outshines Sonam the star-kid in each aspect..be it OSO became a blockbuster, saawarya flop, deepika got all newcomer awards, sonam got nothing, all critics praised deepika and her screen presence and a majority criticized sonam for her weaker acting talent. She LOST IT ALL in the first run of things.
2, RANBIR... the very close friend of sonam during Black days, on the verge to become a SPECIAL friend of sonam, but then Deepika came in the picture.. took away Ranbir totally from sonam, so much so that they both r not even good friends anymore.
3. After partying away from Ranbir. deepika gave some W*F statements against Ranbir with sonam in a show(kwk) showing they both r cordial and have same stance about ranbir...BUT...deepika took a u turn, became cordial with ranbir again worked in another film that became a huge blockbuster,.,and this must have left Sonam burning in the fire of anger 😆
4. When after like 6 years of struggle, sonam atlast managed to gave a decent performance in raanjhana and gave two hits raanjhana and bhaag milkha bhaag, BUT again she been totally overshadowed co-incidentally by deepika's 4 consecutive blockbusters the very same year, each and every award for her and praises from all of the sections, sonam got totally overshadowed by her again.
5. Both Ranveer and Arjun are first paternal and maternal cousins of Sonam...Deepika after having affair with Ranbir and splitting up with sonam's once close friend, chose (or fall in love..dont know) ranveer as her next boyfriend... gave a BB with him...did another movie with arjun... and sonam is left nowhere...sonam kay cousins ko bhi hijack kar liya 😆
If u see the chronology of events, it is pretty evident that its none but Deepika (not by choice, strictly kismat) who always came in way of Sonam as some obstacle...I know its not deepika,s fault but co incidentally u will also agree that she keeps bumping in her way...😆
