I am feeling a bit bad for Alya, while she did send the goons for Nandini, it looks like she is going to lose everything in a day, her relationship with Manik, her friendship with the Fab5. I found the scene in the precap very sad. Alya all alone in the room by herself.

I agree. I am sure she won't lose on her friends.. maybe her relationship with manik has really short time left, but they are all going to be there as friends forever. Alya is a nice girl. She isn't bad. Just spoilt i would say.

Yeah, I feel for her. Insecurities can actually have terrible repercussions.

Yeah I don't think he is a bad person either, like you said a bit spoilt and I guess she has always had her way and I think the Manik Nandini equation has come as a shock to her, for the first time in her life, she feels insecure and I guess part of the problem is she thinks how come it is Nandini. I can't really blame anyone here, all around it is sad.

Isn't that the truth ? As people we make choices based on our insecurities and they backfire on us big time, to a large extent, her harping about the accidents kiss and making Nandini forbidden to Manik has done some of true damage.

I know by the show's canon, we are expected to understand that there is a special connection between Manik and Nandini but Alya's insecurity has also kind of speeded it up I feel.

True that. Constantly nagging someone about one thing in particular. All their interactions recently were more or less centered around 'the proximity angle'. In a way, she has started to irk Manik and push him away. Come to think of it, when curiosity is heightened, one does venture out to try and figure it out (Nandini isn't someone to take things lying down and she piques Manik's curiosity. Added to that, we have a whole bunch of people rubbing it in his face as well). Its human nature to have an affinity to something.

True but her intentions when she sent the goons after Nandini were bad! It could've been really dangerous..
But like you even I am a little sad..
Her insecurities were kind of obvious..
Besides the female intuitions as they say..Nandu-Manik>>She did she it coming!

Love is hard to explain like that, when you start going around with some one at age 12, you are a very different person from when you are at 19.

So I really don't find it weird that they grew apart, because people do not remain the same from adolescence to teenage to adult.

If both the people change together and grow in the relationship, the relationship survives and flourishes, if not the relationship breaks and this is especially true in the real world.

So basing a person's relationship on 7 years of going around especially something when they hardly were adults is a little unfair.
