As you all know that some of Rajat's earlier shows are telecasted on DD1. They are also telecasted on DD Bharati.
Well, let me first tell you something abt the channel as few of you may not be knowing..
DD1 or DD National is a channel of India's National Broadcaster, Doordarshan. It broadcasts National programmes mainly aimed at promoting national integration and inculcating a sense of unity and fraternity. All major National events are covered live on DD National. Important sports events are also telecasted live. Regional language programmes are also telecasted on this channel. DD Bharati is also a channel of Doordarshan. It telecasts programmes on Health, Children, Music, Dance and Heritage, etc.
I have seen Rajat in a few shows on these channels. Some of them include 'Jadui Chirag', 'Yeh Hawayein', 'Light House For Children', 'Rahul' and 'Abhivyakti'.
Earlier, I used to frequently switch to these channels to watch these shows. But lately, I have come to know that Doordarshan's website provides the Programme Schedules of these channels. This made my job a lot easier. But the only problem is that the schedule is only for the particular day on which you log on to the website.
Now I want to share what I know of these shows with you all…😛
You all, by now, must be aware of Jadui Chirag…but if you don't know abt other shows I mentioned..herez something abt them.
The following are my first-hand accounts..they have not been copied from anywhere.
'Yeh Hawayein'
This is a 5 episode series.
Production House: Amrohi Arts Production
Characters: Arahaan (played by apna Rajat)
Ajeesh (Bulbul)
Almass (Akshat)
The story is set in a Muslim village (plz excuse me if the names have been wrongly spelt 😉). Rajat plays Arahaan or Araham..the name is never clearly pronounced!😆 Ajeesh and Almass, his two friends study with Arahaan in the same class in the same school. Their teacher Rabia inculcates the spirit to support the right in them. These 3 friends come to know abt trees being cut for commercial purposes in their village. Inspired by their teacher's teaching they take it up as their mission to find out the ppl involved in this and inform the police abt the racket. 😛 They come to know abt the initiator of the racket Bansal, a businessman who deals in timber. They also find out that the village's headman, ie, Sarpanch is also involved in the racket. They succeed in their mission ultimately 😃 and Rajat has a long dialogue to speak in the end..which he has spoken well..You guys even have the pics in which he is speaking this one! You have to see him getting irritated, serious, friendly, sensitive.. in this show..he is jus too gud! 😃
'Light House For Children'

This show is basically about informing students about various things and career options they can pursue. 😊 Rajat along with Lisha hosts this show. Rajat even dances in the song (title track) when it is played at the end of the show. He does that famous step of Hrithik Roshan from 'Ek Pal Ka Jeena' 😎 The following pic is from Krissh..it resembles the step in 'Kaho Naa Pyar Hai'..sorry couldn't find the right pic..hope you guys hv understood which step I'm talking abt! 😳
'Abhivyakti'
Rajat plays Rohit in this show. He is a budding director. He starts his work by making a small movie with a message. He along with his friends moves to places.. to people who can help them in making their first movie. Eventually he comes up with a gud short film. 👏 He learns a lot throughout the process of movie making and is also appreciated by a few experienced people in the job.
'Rahul'
Rajat plays Rahul in this show. He is the only child to his parents, who are very rich and so he is pampered a lot, especially by his mom. You can say that he is a 'Bigda Raees'!! 😉 He fights with boys in his school..which is none other than 'Hope Hall Foundation'. But he feels connected to one teacher who despite Rahul's bad behaviour doznt want the principal to rusticate him. You see him swimming in one of the episodes and he even pulls the teacher's hand in this scene ..and she falls in to the swimming pool!! 😆 I don't know what happens in the end coz I have only seen two episodes of this show. 😳
Baaesween Shatabadi Ke Bache'
This is a show where one or two scientists manage to invent a time machine. They then go to the future…in the 22nd century 😛 but get trapped there coz Moon has attacked the planet on which they land. 😆 Rajat (don't know the name of the character he plays..nobody took his name!! 😳) along with his friends goes to the 22nd century to bring those scientists back. He manages to convince Moon not to attack the planet and let the Earthians go back. 😃 He addresses the moon as 'Chanda Mama' and after listening to Rajat's sweet and innocent words and by looking at his intensely emotional expressions Moon changes its mind! 😃 (Rajat always gets emotional whenever the word 'Ma' is involved! 😉) They all come back safely to Earth.😃
I have also seen Rajat in one episode each of 'Dishayein' and 'Animal Stories'..though these shows are not mentioned anywhere.
'Dishayein'
Well, this is a very different show. Here in each episode a new story is taken which revolves around problems of teenagers and the reactions of their parents. 😊 At the end of the episode some counselors and parents are invited and a discussion follows.
Rajat came in one of the episode..as what I don't remember. 😳 The character he played loves playing cricket. 😃 (Lez call the character 'X') X is gud at cricket but is average at studies. His grandmother, who thinks that sports is a waste of time, keeps comparing him with his cousin who does well at studies. This cousin comes over to X's place and then there are more comparisons and differences. X gets frustrated by all this and stops playing with his cousin though he really wants to play with him.
'Animal Stories'
This show is based on children's affection towards animals. 😃 Actually the idea is to portray children's love for animals so that adults do not kill them for any illegal purpose. I have seen Rajat in one of the episodes and I think that he has done only one episode of this show. 😳 You guys have the pics of Rajat from Animal Stories (the one which 'rupalip' gave us). When this episode was being aired on DD Bharati unfortunately there was some technical problem with the channel..so there was no sound. 😡 I could make out what Rajat did..saved some animals..informed police and eventually the ppl involved were arrested..but cudnt hear a word.
These are jus the storylines. I can narrate the stories scene by scene but it will be gud if you guys watch him in action through your eyes. 😉 He is gud in all these shows…gud expressions, dialogue delivery and he gets irritated fabulously well!!! 😃 I should mention that the direction, screenplays of some of these shows is very average ..but Rajat has definitely worked well.😛 😃

Most of the times this schedule is correct but there maybe some error in the late night programme schedule. Also, a particular programme's telecast can be stopped if there has to be a live telecast of some event.
If any member with the necessary resources can come forward to record all these shows..it will definitely be a BIG favour to all Rajat's fans on I-F. 😃 If I had the resources I wud hv done it till now..but unfortunately I don't. I wud try to help as best I will be able to 😛..but some member(s) has(have) to come forward to provide video updates for these…The job requires patience..coz many times I had to wait for weeks together to catch the next episode of a show…
