Sanam and Aahil are both unable to sleep, heavy thoughts about their earlier conversations weighing in their mind.

Everyone can see how much Aahil loves his mother. But I sense a little fear in it too...Why does he jump at Begum Sahiba's every whim like that? What does she hold over him that he is so over-obliging? Did she scare him as a child? No, I am assuming too much, she loves him a lot. But what bothers him so? His father abused him as a child, and he is so scarred by it. But why does he speak of blood? of murder? Whose?

All I know is, I want to help him get out of this restlessness...

She warily looks over at him and discovers he is still awake ...

Can't you sleep? <OMG, kill me right now !!!>

No, he replies softly, turns towards her, Kyu? You wanna talk?

<OMG his pillow talk is to die for !!! those eyes and low, soft and below detection baritone!!>

<You wanna talk Aahil? Really ? TALK?> LOL!!

OMG they are so close to each other it's a little strange that nothing happened! Hahah... But really this pillow talk with bedroom eyes is sooo intimate...*meltedinapuddle*

But Sanam gets straight to the point.

Did you father beat you a lot when you were little?

Aahil is taken aback at her bluntness. He wasn't rough at all, he in the same voice requested her to please not meddle in his past, to let it be. Keyword being gentle...

He moves away, and she stops him with her hand pressing him back into the pillow. Sorry...

She's quite used to holding him now after his nightmares, but he doesn't know any of it...so he's still a little amazed at her crossing boundaries with him...Then she asks an EVEN WORSE question...

Okay at least tell me how your father passed away?

Aahil shuts off completely, but remains very calm. Sanam, just go to bed. We have to finish our dream house tomorrow. Just leave all those things alone please? Very mature, very calm. Nice...

But what does she do??

She goes and asks Begum Sahiba??!

Why? Sanam, why?? How can you be so naive? When she has shown you her mean side so many times??

Tanveer has an attack of extreme acidity, and rubbishes Sanam's concerns about Aahil. Completely stonewalling her, even throwing in reminders of their impending divorce, and her actual station as a naukraani... But she is determined to help Aahil find peace...

Sunehri wakes up to find Rehan in prayer. It touches her, he's obviously grappling with something difficult in his life, and she prays he gets his wishes. Then she find out it's his birthday..

And she hugs him spontaneously... Zoya's daughters love hugging a lot!! Especially gorgeous guys !! hahah... Rehan is shocked and very touched at her sincere gesture.

The next day, Sunehri bakes him a cake, unsuccessfully... SO Rehan makes a cake instead. It's the thought that counts...And she gives him a surprise by decorating his room with balloons and stuff. Rehan in super touched that she did all that for him...

Whoever you marry is a very lucky guy...

He didn't say it romantically, just an observation of how sweet she is. But she thinks him incredibly wonderful for saying such a nice thing. She is stunned for moments, before shaking herself...He is a really nice person, completely unsuitable for the likes of you Sunehri. Get your head out of the clouds!

Bittersweet, that was...

Why does Sunehri think she is unworthy of a good guy? Poor thing...

Meanwhile, Sanam goes investigating and finds the whip Aahil mentioned. SHe is determined to make him face his fears and be rid of it.

But precap show a horrendous thing: Tanveer complains to Aahil that Sanam is nosing around about his father's death and his childhood. She might bump into something and the secret might come out... And Aahil looks angry.

There's the Aahil flip scene everyone is waiting for... He's going to get really mad at her.

Girls, you do not discuss your husband's personal issues with his mother, okay? Bad move. If your MIL is nice, then fine. But it's gonna turn on you so fast...

precap also shows Faiz having a meltdown at Haya, and he fall s at hit his head... Dramatics...

Something tells me Sanam won't find Nawab truth so quickly. She will first find out that Tanveer was in prison and will take that as truth for a while.

The reason is, while it's true Aahil does have this type of fear mixed in, it's a much more complicated than that. But Sanam focuses on the fear aspect.

Also, the situation used yesterday is kind of flimsy. Though KVB and AG did a great job in pulling it off in yesterday's episode. Like, big deal if Aahil decides to just check for his Ammi's sake. But how Tanveer was cross and how Aahil quickly subdued and showed deference was quite palpable and obvious. And yes, there was fear too which Aahil himself doesn't realize because the fear comes from the way Tanveer has made sure to mould him afterwards.

PS What were Khala-Khalu doing? Were they sent by Tanveer to clear out the contents of that box, because it had the whip?

Also, how would that whip lead to any answers for Sanam? Tanveer didn't know Aahil told her indirectly so it makes sense for Tanveer to try to remove it. But, it's not really any use for Sanam other than seeing it for herself.

Also, Tanveer heard Sanam's monologue? 😆

Sanam was connecting the dots really quick and I got all excited but then she totally ruined it by going and inquiring to Begum sahiba . It freaks me out that Sanam trusts Tanveer so much...at this rate I don't think she will figure it out.

May be Rehan will open up one day for everyone to realize how evil Tanveer is.

Yes, yes, yes, the pillow talk, OMG! Really, oh dear Lord, goose bumps and the feels ❤️ . How insane adorable was that. Sanam was calm and he didn't snapped. They have progressed a whole lot in their relationship. So proud of them 👏 .

And then Sanam, oh my Sanam WHYYY, just let me SREEEAMMM right now! Yeah, how nave is this girl, after all the insulting Tanveer gave her. But, you know what, I'm ok with it, hehe! 😊

Yes, Aahil will be furious at her, call me crazy, but the truth is, I just want Sanam to be even MORE furious at him, coz it seems that that's the only way he will open up to her. It will backfire Tanveer whatever she will do, coz Aahil is so obedient to her. He will break their dream house, but when he think back that he had hurt Sanam he will regret it and will rebuilt their dream house 😛 .

Aahil loves Sanam so much and it will hurt him even more when he hurts her. He will not stay away from her and letting her go.

Sorry, as much as I love Seher and Rehan as individual, I just can't connect with them right now. Maybe because of the romantic angle looming. I loved them in the beginning, but nowadays I don't enjoy them anymore, I have to FF their scene. I've tried, but in vain. Sorry SJ, although your a wonderful actress! 😔

What I really want for Tanveer: a very painful and horrible slow death, yes no excuses! Be doomed Tanveer 😡

Great post as usual.

Sanam needs to learn the art of subtlety... I know she's a straight forward type of gal but sometimes other tactics come in handy...still loved the bedroom scene.

Why question Tunveer ?by now Sanam knows that Tannu isn't the nicest person around so why go to her to ask about Aahil?????

Rehaan and Seher seem to have friendship blossoming rather then love or lust at the moment.

I went, Are you freaking kidding me too, when she went to Tanveer.

But from Sanam's perspective, it makes sense only in one sense. She sees Tanveer's bad sides, yes. But still not to a total extent where she thinks Tanveer's a completely bad person. For instance, she still said that Dilshad and Tanveer would be having conversations, etc. Sanam sees Tanveer is not as rosy as she used to think (harkens back to her convo with Latif long back, where she asked if Begum Sahiba is not as good as she looks and Latif moved around it), but that doesn't mean she thinks Tanveer is a total evil witch.

Even more so, she believes Tanveer loves Aahil, her son. Even if Tanveer seems callous at times and all, she went to Tanveer on the belief that Tanveer is his mother who loves him.

But still, the reason it's stupid of Sanam is because obviously if it involved his father, she should wonder if it involved his mother too. If a son is abused, you should assume either the mother too was abused, or she turned a blind eye, or she didn't know of it. Chances or Tanveer not knowing...maybe it's believable since she knows Begum Sahiba has always been away often. But think about how and why an abused son worships his mother so much. Tanveer turning a blind eye again is not at all likely because of how much Aahil looks up to her and worships her. So obviously Tanveer too is somehow involved in this. So if it's a sore subject with Aahil, Sanam should realize it's a sore suspect with Tanveer too. Especially now that she's seen the less pretty side of Tanveer and knows she's not the most understanding, example of complete goodness and good nature.

If Sanam were to find out that Tanveer killed the Nawab and went to jail, Tanveer's behavior with her today would/should be somewhat understandable to Sanam. If we look at it from a logical perspective. Assuming Tanveer killed Nawab, Sanam would/should assume it was due to Nawab's violent nature and she as Aahil's mother protected Aahil and perhaps herself. This alone would also explain Aahil's deference to his mother. And regarding the killing, of course Aahil and Tanveer would want that to be secret. The whole jailing was somehow secret (as unrealistic as it is) and no one knew she was in prison. So Tanveer would of course lash out and even try to put Sanam in her place as that secret shouldn't be one that is revealed to anyone anymore.

I now think it would be interesting for things to come out in steps. Sanam finding out Tanveer served time for the murder--thus assuming she killed the Nawab. Sanam understands somewhat and thinks that's it. She then comes to know somehow, that no, Aahil did it and Tanveer took the blame. She understands even more. Then more pieces and memories are revealed to her and she starts to question.

ETA. The two things that are true of Aahil's recollections of his traumatic past.

1) His father was abusive

2) His Ammi bore some abuse as well in trying to protect him. Whatever her reasons for doing so (maybe going all the way and acting the good mother to the full extent).

Sanam doesn't know Tanvir is step-mother. So why she would think of the dirty side of Tanvir.

The child Aahil and Tanvir relation is not yet shown. If cvs grace us their past relation then we can see reason of fear.

What type of con Sunheri is. At night she can easily open the door and can take the money. Why she is waiting for an opportunity. Well cvs want her to stay there but it is just not her character. They can show other reasons to stay there.
