People have freedom to wear what they want but then again people also have freedom to wander their eyes and this applies to both genders as long as they aren't imposing themselves. Right now I glaring at a shirtless hottie, Sue me 😆

I definitely see where you're coming from. I stare at shirtless guys too lol.

But my point is TOI made an entire article about her 'boob-show' in a very distasteful manner. Star or no, and even if I was comfortable in wearing a sexy dress or something, I'd hate to have that happen to me - seeing my boobs on display on the internet with an offensive title like the one they used, without any consent whatsoever. When there are photo-shoots etc. done they CHOOSE to have their pictures published, this definitely wasn't the case here.

I hope I'm making sense. And really, it's just my two cents. I wasn't well-versed in the ways of the BW forum but I see now why many people here think basically everything stars do is for publicity and you have a fair point, that's how these guys stay in the news. But regardless of all that I support Deepika's stand.

More or less yes. If media is giving them fame and publicity by calling them sexy and hotty complementing them on their legs, flat abs or whatever they are show casing, then why issue with cleavage when it is being show cased ?

As for DPad, I find her manipulative and a hypocrite and yes I do feel she can pick up pointers for publicity. Why cry foul now when many such pics can be seen in the paper and online ? Is it only cuz of the headline, at least I don't think so. So nah, I am definitely not standing by her.

As I already mentioned I don't consider them and commoners in the same league. They use media when it benefits them whether using them as a platform of publication or by slamming them. Why blame the media. What if the same pic was taken and only highlighted her legs, would she have any issue then ? Don't think so. They wanna have the cake and eat it too 😆

Doesn't work like that, at least for me. I don't have any issue with them highlighting the cleavage. If they had done something similar and went under her dress to take a pic of her panty, the private part which isn't being show cased, then yes I would have an issue. I am cool with a cleavage show since it is out there for others to see.

^ Well I guess we found our difference then, I put myself in their shoes and I'd hate for that to happen to me so I do support her 😆 But anyways it was refreshing debating with you. At least you didn't try to bite my head off for thinking differently.

LOL same, same, didn't have to bare being tagged as the plastic fan or being lectured on morals for slamming DPad 😆
