Part 8:
Arjun got out of his trance as he sensed Subhi around them. He gently placed Yagya's leg on the ground and turned to speak to her.
" Hi Subhi!! Actually I got a message from Mata Kunti that she wants to meet you."
" But why, Arjun? You have any idea?"
" No, even I am eager to know about the reason behind this sudden urge of meeting you."
" Even Yagya will come with us as she will not be able to drive and as we are neighbours, I will drive her back home. Is it fine?"
" I don't think Mata will mind. Come let us leave now as I am not able to hold the suspense any more, if Yagya has no problem."
" No, Arjun!! I don't have any problem but your Mata might have some problem with this!"
" You are coming with us and that is final, Yagya!!" he said with a voice of love and concern.
ARJUN'S HOUSE
Girls came in one car while Arjun came in his own. Yagya was having difficulty in walking so Arjun immediately swept her off the the floor and walked towards the door and after entering the house, he kept her down on a couch and helped her sit. Suddenly Kunti made her entry to which Yagya tried to get up but Arjun held her tightly by her shoulder and sat by her side to make her feel comfortable. Behind her they saw a lady dressed in a saree.
Arjun asked, " Pranam Mata!! Who is this lady?" Kunti nodded her head accepting the Namaskar and repled, " She is your to-be-Bhabhi, to-be wife of your Bhratha Yudhistir, Devika!"
Everyone there was shocked listening to a marriage coming up in Arjun's family. Then Arjun asked her, " That's why you called Subhi and not me, to discuss the wedding. This is not fair, Mata!!"
" Not like that, Putra!! But you know ladies are more helpful in this matter so I asked her to come!"
" But I got one more help for you, Mata!! This is Yagya, our batchmate, best at everything and our friend. She is a friend of Madhav too!" he said to Kunti who was looking at Yagya suspiciously.
" Oh I thought that i already became a mother-in-law!!! Well what are your plans about your marriage Paarth?" she asked while looking at Subhi lovingly who was slightly blushing at it.
"When the person I love would accept me, wholeheartedly and you all accept her then marriage would take place" He said with a confident voice with love towards Yagya while looking at her. Yagya was blushing all the while and noticed Devika being all quiet and said,
" Seems like Paarth is back in his normal talkative mood where no one else can speak!"
" But two people can make me go speechless."
" I would love to meet them both, Paarth"
" You have already met them, Yagya"
And the convo continued long till Yagya and Subhi took leave and went to their homes while Devika was supposed to be with Kunti as she had no family and to complete the wedding preparations.
