Part 5:

Sanam was working in her table, when the lights went of all of a sudden switching off her system too. Sanam looked around and it was pitching dark.

"Oh God!!!" exclaimed Sanam, "What happened to the lights now? Where is my mobile??"

Sanam tried to search her mobile in the dark, when she felt a hand on her shoulder. She thought it was Aahil and turned back enraged.

"Look here..."

Just then she stopped her sentence as a lighter flame got lit up and then she recognized that the person was not Aahil and someone else.

"Anwar??" asked Sanam looking at his face through the flame.

"Waah Sanam!! You look heavenly through this little flame too!!" said Anwar and kept his hand on her shoulder, while Sanam looked at his hand on her shoulder. He was smiling at her as he ran his fingers through her hand.

Sanam smiled at him back, as her hands stopped at the ruler lying over there. She took it and poked in his eyes, causing Anwar to scream in pain, closing his eyes, while Sanam kicked his legs causing him to fall down.

"What did you think about me?? That I will cry and make a scene like what happens normally?" asked Sanam at Anwar, who was whining there, "Never think all girls are helpless, idiots!!!"

Just then Aahil parked his car and as he was walking in, the security gave a confused look at him.

"Sir!!" called out the secretary to Aahil and he turned at him, "You are coming again??"

"What??" asked Aahil unable to understand what he meant.

"I mean, I guess one more person went to the office after you went out" said the security thinking, while Aahil was thinking about it and went inside. He reached the office and found it all dark over there.

"Power cut?? How come?" said a confused Aahil, "I saw lights downstairs."

Aahil went to the mains outside the office, checked it and switched the knob, causing lights to come back. He then went to the office and was shocked at the sight.

Sanam was sitting in the chair and staring at Anwar, whom she had tied up using her scarf along with a chair.

"I am sorry Sanam!! Please leave me. I will never trouble any girl hereafter!!" requested Anwar.

"Don't even have an idea about it. I am not leaving you unless and until you learn your lesson!!" said a furious Sanam, and her eyes fell on Aahil who was standing at the entrance, with a bewildered look. She walked up to Aahil with a tensed face.

"You know what he did?? He tried to misbehave with me when there was no one in the office. I beat him up properly and tied him up with the chair. Let everyone come tomorrow" said Sanam.

Aahil hearing it looked at Anwar too in a bad condition and he could understand how Sanam would have dealt with him. Anwar avoided looking at Aahil.

He walked past her and went straight to his cabin, least bothered about what happened there.

"Aahil!!! Come on!! Tell me what we do?? Keep him here, till everyone comes in the morning or send him??" asked Sanam to Aahil.

Aahil turned back at Sanam, gave a blank stare at her and continued to walk further.

"Aahil..." continued Sanam calling out to him, just when she remembered how she had insulted Aahil in front of everyone in the office, when he came to warn about Anwar's true intentions and how he said that he would never utter a word to her hereafter.

She regretted for misunderstanding Aahil and walked to her place and was lost in thoughts.

Aahil who was sitting inside, took a glance at Sanam and looked at Anwar too.

"Not bad!! She is quite a warrior, not an ordinary type of girl. Serves guys like Anwar right!!" said Aahil to himself and continued to work.

Next day, by around 8 am, Aahil and Sanam were still in office, half asleep, when people started coming to the office. They saw Anwar being seated there and wondered what would have happened to him.

Once the M.D came and enquired about it, Sanam narrated the entire incident and the M.D. was furious about hearing it and Anwar was released from the chair and he was standing with heads hung down.

"Ashamed of you Anwar!!" said the M.D, "This has become heights!!!"

"Sir!!" said Sanam, "If you are still planning to forgive him and let him continue in this company, I am sorry to say, I will be leaving this company this moment!!"

"Sir, Sanam is right!!" said Aahil and Sanam turned at him surprised, "This has been happening in this office for long. Yesterday, since Sanam dealt with the situation bravely, things were fine. If not, you can imagine. So I guess you will have to take a decision now."

Sanam looked at Aahil, happy that he supported her, but Aahil took a glance at her and turned the other side.

"Alright!! Considering the peaceful environment required by my staff, I decide to terminate Anwar from this company!! You may leave this place this moment Anwar" said the M.D.

Anwar was shocked to hear it, while all other staff rejoiced hearing that, as they were happy that they need not bear his nuisance anymore.

"Your settlement will reach in a couple of days. You may leave!! Others can carry on with their work" said the M.D and left from there, while Anwar walked out and took a final vengeful glance at Aahil and Sanam, while they smirked at him.

As Anwar was walking out to his bike,

"Excuse me Anwar Sahab!!!" called out Aahil. Anwar turned back to find Aahil and Aahil came to him.

Aahil smiled at him and gave a tight slap on Anwar's face and Anwar looked back in rage.

"This is for misbehaving with Sanam last night!!" said Aahil, "At least try to live decently hereafter!!"

"You both have played with me so badly Aahil!!! You both will pay for it soon!!!" said Anwar and left in his bike, while Aahil smirked at him and went back to the office.

Back in the office, when Aahil sat at his cubicle, Sanam came to him.

"Aahil!!" called out Sanam and Aahil looked at her.

"Well...I am sorry for what I spoke yesterday. I was..." was telling Sanam, when Aahil got up from his place and walked away from there. Sanam kept going back of him, pleading him to listen to her at least for once.

"Aahil, please give me a chance to speak..." said Sanam, when Aahil turned at her angrily.

"Why should I give you a chance to speak???" stormed Aahil, "Did you let me speak yesterday???"

Aahil shouted at her in such a loud tone that all the staff looked at them and Sanam noticed everyone looking at them.

"Look here Sanam, if you are trying to get close to me, using this incident, let me tell you that is not going to work with me!!" shouted Aahil. Sanam was infuriated to hear that.

"What???" asked Sanam with an unbelievable look.

"What?? Do you think I don't know about girls like you??" asked Aahil, "That day you insulted me in front of everyone in this very same place, today you are apologizing to me, and you thought I will look at this and forgive you and fall head over heels for you?? Never expect that from Aahil Raza Ibrahim!!"

"But Aahil..." interrupted Sanam but Aahil raised his hand signaling her to stop.

"Listen" said Aahil in a low tone, "better stay away from me and try to use these tricks of yours to someone else!!"

Saying so, Aahil left from that place, while Sanam was standing angrily there. She walked to the canteen, while Aahil's words were ringing in her ears.

"What does he think of himself??" asked Sanam to herself, "I just went to apologize to him and he spoke so cheaply about me in front of everyone??"

"Weren't you a bit harsh to Sanam, Aahil??" asked Nida to Aahil, who was working on his PC.

"I don't want to talk about that Nida" said Aahil.

"But Aahil, I seriously don't understand what is the issue brewing up between the two of you" said Nida.

"Then how do you want me to react Nida??" asked Aahil turning at her, "Yesterday I went to warn her about Anwar's intentions in spite of all the issues between her and me. And what did she do??"

Rehaan came and joined Nida, as Aahil was talking.

"She insulted me to the core and spoke so cheap about me to all of you!!" said Aahil, "And today if she comes and apologizes to me, I should forget everything and smile at her??? Aahil Raza Ibrahim never does that!!"

"Whatever dude" said Rehaan, "You people have to come into compromising terms. You both are colleagues right??"

"So?? It doesn't mean I will bow my head to her!!" said Aahil and he walked away from there, while Nida and Rehaan shrugged their shoulders and continued with their work.

Later at night, Haya and Sanam were in a hotel, while Haya was quiet listening to the story narrated by Sanam.

"I am not going to leave this Haya!!!" said Sanam.

"Look here" said Haya, "You both have equally played your games with each other. Now stop this here Sanam. And moreover, mistake is there in your part too yeah??"

"Of course I don't deny that Haya" said Sanam, "But he spoke so badly about my character. He speaks as if he is the Romeo of Mumbai and all girls want to flatter him. I want to teach him a lesson for that!!"

Haya took back the coffee cup from her mouth and looked at Sanam in awe.

"Now what are you up to??" asked Haya with a tensed face.

"What did he tell me??" asked Sanam, "That he will never fall head over heels for me and I should never expect that from Aahil Raza Ibrahim, right?? I will prove that conception of his, wrong!!"

"Means??" asked Haya.

"I will make him fall for me!!!" said Sanam and walked to the counter to pay the bill, while Haya was sitting in her place still stunned hearing that.

She walked up to Sanam and they walked outside to the car.

"Are you mad Sanam??? Listen there is a limit for playing around. Faking love and such doesn't seem good for me" said Haya.

"Relax sweetheart!!" said Sanam as they both entered the car, "I know how to do it. It's not that I will hurt him, but just teach him a lesson. So, don't worry. This won't turn serious."

"But Sanam..." said Haya, while Sanam interrupted her, "Haya, you know about me right?? This is just a small trick and Sanam Ahmed Khan always teaches a very good lesson to people who misjudge her. That's it!!"

Sanam started driving, while Haya was lost in thoughts. She was thinking how different is Sanam and Seher in these things; Sanam loves to invite troubles and is a problem magnet and Seher tries her maximum to avoid troubles; the only similarity among theme being that they resemble alike.

She looked at Sanam and smiled, wondering what if Sanam falls really in love with Aahil, faking it to him.

It was next day morning and Aahil came with his cup of tea, placed in the table and opened the door to take the newspaper. He found a chocolate and a note pinned with it on top of the newspaper. He bent down to take it and opened the note to find a "SORRY" written in it with a sad smiley.

Aahil wondered who must have written it and found someone standing in front of him and looked up to find Sanam smiling at him. She caught her ears and came to him.

"I am sorry Aahil!!" said Sanam with a sad guilt-ridden face.

Aahil, brushed it away and was about to enter inside.

"Aahil please..." requested Sanam and Aahil stopped and turned back at her.

"I know you don't want to talk to me. But I need to talk to you" said Sanam.

"But I don't want to..." said Aahil, but Sanam interrupted him, "But you don't want to listen to me. I know!!"

Aahil looked at her taking a paper from her pocket and she extended it to him, and he looked at her.

"Whatever I want to tell you, I have written it in this letter. Please read it" said Sanam.

Aahil took the letter and she smiled at him. But he suddenly tore the letter into pieces and threw it down and looked at Sanam with a smirk. Sanam looked at it and took another letter from her pocket, while Aahil was confused.

"I expected that you will tear it. That's why I had one more copy of it" said Sanam and extended it to him, while Aahil was looking at her and was about to tear that too.

"If you tear this too" said Sanam and Aahil looked at her, "I will give another copy yet again. How much ever letters you tear, that much times I will give it again" said Sanam smiling.

Even though angry at her, Aahil couldn't help but get stunned at this attitude of Sanam. He wondered how does she always think in his way and outsmart him.

Aahil saw the letter, looked at Sanam and went inside and locked the door. While Sanam smiled at her victory.

"Well done Sanam!!" said Sanam and patted herself, and she went to her flat.

Aahil sat at his sofa and put the letter on the table and kept looking at it. He recalled how she insulted him the other day and thought not to read it and stood up. But then he suddenly recalled the way she spoke now too and looked at the letter again.

He took the letter and went to his balcony and opened it and it read:

"Thank you for bothering to open this letter Aahil. You might be thinking after insulting and getting insulted too, why does this 'chudail' keep bothering me. It's just that I wanted to tell you, that I regret so much for insulting you that day and I apologize to you from the bottom of my heart. It's the first time I have behaved so badly with someone and it's the first time I am apologizing to someone too.

Till you tell me that you have forgiven me, I will continue to bother you to accept my apologies.

-Sanam"

Aahil closed the letter and looked at Sanam who was standing on her side of the balcony and smiling at him. Looking at her, Aahil crumbled the letter and threw it out and went inside, while Sanam was standing there staring at him.

"Hmmm...very adamant you are haan??" said Sanam looking at Aahil's side of the balcony, "I am too no way less than you. Let me see how many days will you maintain this adamancy to me!!"
