Don't know if anyone noticed, but Himesh Reshammiya was not present for the shooting of the July 7th episode. I hear you going - 'What? But they showed his comments all through the show. And what about that teasing of Mauli n Adi?'. Well, that's called smart editing.
Yes, Himesh was present in the beginning, for the Josh gharana comments. But it seems he had other commitments, so he gave his responsibility to Adi n left (but not before playing on the Mauli-Adi issue). After that, whenever Adi finished with his comments on contestants, Himesh would suddenly pop up with repetitive praises that clearly looked pre-recorded. And then they would show clips of Adi looking embarassed. It was clearly a cut-and-paste job.
They never showed Himesh commenting on any contestants - not even his own. He didn't even comment on Aneek when everyone was going crazy over him - now how is that possible? Also, they didn't show Himesh sitting next to any mentor, or interacting with any mentor (except the Mauli part). Most of his expressions and reactions during the songs seemed familiar - they were taken from prior clippings.
If you look carefully, when ID thanked VS for being such good people, and blessed them, they showed Ismail shaking hands with Shekhar, directly from his seat - what happened to the guy in the middle? Also, when they were showing the performances with the camera panned from the top - we could see the mentors' table - only 4 people sat there. Himesh was missing.
I'm surprised no one else noticed this. Is Zee too smart for us?
