Heather Mills was on Thursday described in court as a 'wolf' by the photographer accused of assaulting her. Jay Kaycappa allegedly injured the estranged wife of Sir Paul McCartney in Brighton last July.

Prosecutor Dale Sullivan, told Kaycappa, "You hunted this lady. She was like Little Red Riding Hood."

But Kaycappa, 32, said, "I don't think she's Little Red Riding Hood, she's more like the wolf."

Mills, 39, claims Kaycappa grabbed her and spun her round for a shot, injuring her shoulder. Kaycappa told Brighton the court that time codes on his photos did not support her story, but Sullivan said it could have happened in a four-second gap between shots.

Another photographer, Stephen Lawrence, said he did not see Kaycappa assault the ex-po*n model.

Kaycappa, of Fareham, Hampshire, is also accused of assaulting Mills's friend, Mark Payne, the next day. He denies two charges of common assault. The trial continues.

Heather Mills is hunting for a new home a few miles from her estranged husband Sir Paul McCartney's sprawling estate in Peasmarsh, East Sussex, for the sake of their daughter Beatrice, three.

A close friend said, "Six months ago, this would have been inconceivable. But they think it will be best for Beatrice to have both parents close in case she needs them."

Heather, who plans to sell her 2million art deco beachfront house in Hove, is looking in Rye — three miles from Paul.

On July 30, 2006, Paul McCartney filed for divorce from Heather Mills citing 'unreasonable behaviour'. On January 21, 2007, the press announced a settlement between the two, mentioning that Sir Paul would pay 32 million in cash and property to his ex-wife.

In March 2007, Mills told BBC News 24 Television, "I will never get over it. I will always love Paul. But I just have to move on and deal with it and there is nothing I can do. I have never spoken badly about my husband. I never will — he is the father of my child."

She also insisted that the media's attitude to her was biased. "It's a big powerful group of people behind this whole campaign against me," she said.
