On Friday, the 13th July 2007, Bollywood will witness a shocking thriller. Yes, Abbas-Mustan, the Masters of Suspense - will present their next thriller 'Naqaab'. The duo isn't leaving any stone unturned to promote their film as could be seen from its promos. Resembling a Hollywood film, 'Naqaab' showcases the three protagonists of the film - Bobby Deol, Akshaye Khanna and debutant Urvashi Sharma. The movie's story is about love, deception, intrigue, passion and greed - all unfolding on the screen. While it is exciting enough to see two men trying to prove their love for the woman they want in their lives, a mysterious twist to the tale comes in the form of a third person who is shown to be capturing the three of them through a video camera. The movie brings in usual thrills and chills linked with trademark Abbas-Mustan's shot taking, background music and crisp editing. So, the movie deserves waiting for it eagerly. The movie's producer, Ramesh Taurani, proudly says, "Naqaab' is a suspense thriller." Its uniqueness, according to him, is that its story progresses gradually and reveals the truth.
Next in line of Tips is ' Race'. This is under production having Saif Ali Khan, Akshaye Khanna, Anil Kapoor, Bipasha Basu, Katrina Kaif and Sameera Reddy. The director is none other than the Abbas-Mustan duo. It will be followed by a film to be directed by Aziz Mirza, starring Shahid Kapoor and Vidya Balan. Another biggie to follow is the remake of Amar Akbar Anthony, starring the Khan Brothers -- Salman, Arbaaz and Sohail. Ramesh Taurani says, "We shall also go on floors with the remake of 'Amar Akbar Anthony' . In this movie, we have retained the original story with all the highlight scenes, but with relevant changes to make it more contemporary. And, there is one more film on the anvil with Amrita Rao." He further said, "Tips Films has successfully tapped every genre of movies from comedy to suspense thrillers. Tips have always shown a sign of class and quality in their movies. I am confident of our movies, especially 'Naqaab' hitting the jackpot at the box office.
