Can anybody tell me how many single screens and multiplex screens are available all over india for hindi viewing only?

60% single screens

40% multiplexes.

but collections would averagely show - 60 - 65% from multiplexes while 35 - 40% from single screen because of ticket price difference

Its tough to answer. Single screens r simple.. 4 shows a day.

Multiplex r complex.. they can have 30 shows a day for a film or only 1. So there u go.

i read somewhere that overall 5k screens are available for hindi viewing...true?

It can go upto 10K.. if the every multiplexes in India show only one movie.. may be even 15K.
