Ok I know I haven't been around much...but seeing the latest developments I just really need to let this all out. But I'll say this beforehand...this is in no ways about the actors because I appreciate their incredible dedication and professionalism...even to a show that's pretty much a joke now and has made the audience it's laughing stock and punching bag.
See when Rangrasiya 2.0 started I was devastated that Rudra wasn't a BSD officer anymore and he had absolutely nothing to do with it, but I let it go, because people do strange things when they're grieving...they sometimes change and move away from an old life to cope with the pain and that's understandable. So I let it go. But I should have known that this was where it all went downhill. The Rudra now...is a mess (for a lack of a better word) and he's a caricature of the Rudra I LOVED. It's like the writers don't know how to portray what he wants...what he feels...through their writing and scene depiction...Ashish is the only saving grace with his flawless acting! But sometimes even an incredible actor can't salvage a poorly written plot. Everything is contrived to the point that even your main lead is. Rudra was a character with such depth and in a moments turn of events they made him look superficial and shallow.
Everything Rudra and Myrah are built upon is Paro, Parud scenes and Paruds child. I bet we can all admit if Myrah didn't have Paro's face he wouldn't have looked twice. Alot of important and meaningful Parud scenes were recreated for them and tbh...they left a bitter taste, because are they really not that creative enough to write romantic situations for those two without using Parud scenes?...where was the originality? If so...then you know this pairing would never work. And those qualities that Rudra pointed out for Myrah...they were all Paro too. But what hurts is that they literally replaced the very half of Rangrasiya- Paro and tried to erase her by recreating everything in Myrah, and Rudra and Myrah- Mills and Boon style! But it was doomed to be justified from the start because Rudra's character was written for only one woman- Paro and vice versa...they were the perfect balance, the eptiome of love...soulmates. They knew they couldn't beat that...no one would accept it. So they change Rudra...they bring in Dhruv, because let's admit...without Dhruv, why the hell would Myrah even be staying there right now. He was played smartly...but ultimately served his purpose as a plot device...and so did a dead Paro- to justify Rudra and Myrah. And you can see the outcome...majority of the audience are left unhappy, disappointed and unsatisfied.
And on a side note- Thank you RS, MD and whoever else it concerns for belittling the fans...I get it, the show is ending, you want to be logical but should have thought about being logical when you introduced Myrah the look a like and practically came up with contrived and bs reasons for her and Rudra to get together...also thanks alot for making the fans sound like a bunch of idiots, we're obviously the illogical ones with no brains.
I'm sorry if this is incoherent and has incredibly terrible grammar...I'm just a tad bit ticked off right now! Also this is just my opinion and is about the show and it's characters and is in no way about the actors! Because at this point they're the ONLY saving grace!
