Check out Kryan's WU
hereOK, I'm late posting today since I got busy, but my thoughts:
This episode was far worse than yesterday's and I mean this because of how foolish Sharda was portrayed.
But let's take it step by step:
Police don't usually hang around and allow the media to begin their interview. They step in and escort the arrested person to the police car. But the police here were simply enjoying the reporters and the media...
Which leads me to -- Did I miss something in the past where Suresh was trying to hide the identity of his extra son and daughter through Pallavi? I figured that it was made clear when Pallavi became in charge and the officially wedded wife of Suresh ... shouldn't the media have already scooped up info on this? Besides, wasn't it Aarav's fault to begin with ... he called Karan the stepbrother
Now let's move on. Kryan- I'm going to quote your WU (hope you don't mind)
Sharda replies that the matter here is that Shanaya has been hurt. Karan's anger is his mistake for which he will be punished. What's wrong will be wrong even if my son has done it!
So basically when Shanaya committed Arson against Sharda, or when Shanaya dropped the chai on the saris or flooded the room, or jammed the machines ... Sharda forgave her. Heck, let's just use the first one. Arson. Sure no one was there but Shanaya, but still that affected pretty much everyone - from Sakshi to the workers to Sharda herself. Sure the stuff was saved, but it causes serious damage to the factory that KARAN managed to get the keys to. But here (and numerous times) Sharda insisted that love must be used because Shanaya is young and innocent and naive and other crap. So where is this same love that should cure Karan's anger? I mean ... why differentiate it. Why see Shanaya's anger as innocence and Karan's anger as a hate crime. Shanaya's anger was due to this whole mixup in her normal life and Karan's anger was a potential threat he saw towards his wife.
I mean is this the same Sharda who would take up the blame for people's mistakes back in the day. Remember the Chirag incident where she went to his college and was yelled at by Suresh because of that. She chose to remain silent because she didn't want Chirag to get hurt.
Today we saw Sharda finally treat Karan like how Suresh treated him ... like dirt, like crap, like a useless person. Sharda Modi may have become a business partner to Suresh Modi, she may have became the mother of Shanaya and Aarav, but she failed to look evenly at all her kids. She chose to take the path of love and tolerance with Shanaya, but with Karan ... she just chose the worst path for him.
This brings me to what Sharda said later on:
Sharda shakes her head. But they are its base. Its true that Karan is my son but it is also true that it dint happen right with Shanaya. I supported you when things were against you. Now I have to be with Shanaya for the same reason.
Sharda isn't able to differentiate between what Sakshi and Shanaya were doing. Sakshi was trying to bring Sharda into the family, while Shanaya was doing nothing but destroy the family. Sharda knew that very well, which is why what she says is utter BS. She isn't supporting truth .. she is supporting her own promise to Pallavi. She is putting the importance of her promise over everything else which will lead to nothing but chaos.
Let's turn the attention to Sakshi -- when Shanaya was saying those mean things to her, I didn't expect a breakdown at all. In fact, I was urging Sakshi (my habit of yelling ..) to just flip them all off and just leave. Maybe leave with a little pizzazz "Shanaya ... you tried to break the family numerous times because you blamed us for what your dad did, and now that you are in this pitiful state you are blaming me ... grow up. Everyone's sympathetic for god knows why. You admitted to taking BP pills, you admitted to causing so much trouble ... you got you deserve ... it's not what I wanted, it's what you wanted." And just do a turn and leave the room. But I dream ... I hope ...
I'll end it with this:
Shanaya's attitude ... she is calling Dadi "Dadi" .. she is more respectful towards Sharda. If you didn't watch the past bunch of episodes from when Shanaya entered, you would have assumed that Shanaya was the good character in all this. Why this sudden change in her character though? I mean ... what changed for her to accept Sharda or think / consider Dadi's health for even a second.
Maybe it's all an act, but I think the CVs are trying to make this Shanaya's turning point. Which is sad since Karan is still in jail with no one to help him but Sakshi .. Karan caused the change in Shanaya, so ...
I lied .. I'll end with this.
Karan -- stop blaming yourself ... IT'S NOT YOUR FAULT. That's one thing I'm starting to hate about Karan. He is blaming himself even though he knows he isn't at fault. Even Sakshi ... ugh. hate how their characters are being portrayed...
