The makers are now trying to bring the story back on track. They indeed are trying to focus on the whole GD society and not Gada family alone these days but the fact is they have succesfully transformed the story line into one absurd thing.
After 5 to 6 years, suddenly Mehta was diagnosed with cholesterol or whatever it is and therefore Anjal is sacrificing her life to keep Tarak fit. I think they have now understood the absurdity of being a fitness freak. Therefore they brought this track and tried to normalise the character of Anjali. I guess it was too late already.
Then Tappu sena also. They conduct huge functions, festivals and even marriage anniversaries and all of a sudden they are like little children making absurd budgets. Trying to bring originality in the story but again its too late.
