Changing a profile name is not same as MID. I believe if you click a member's profile, it shows their previous user name. If you wonder who's who after name change you can always find old posts quoted with the user name. Also isn't there a time period you have to wait after name change to change it again?

Problem User Section. No big deal. Just a section where problematic posts are moved too. You don't really have to be a problem user. If you posted in a problematic topic or responded to a serial offender your posts can get moved when they move the topics/convos.

No big deal. I have posts in problem user section as well. Some as a problem user. 😆

I for one thot ppl change their ID coz they wanna change their past. But may be not here. On previous forum, U change ur UN, u start as new member. Sounds abt right.

MIDs- some1 asked.. its multiple IDs for a same member. But here, MIDs r supported. I can change my Id 2moro to Salmanfan and ppl will be keep guessing who they r talking to.

If I change my username, it doesn't change my history. This post you quoted here will always have "return_to_hades". If I change my username and people cannot figure I'm return_to_hades, then they are morons. In such cases, identity is just a few clicks away.

If I create a whole new ID and login with that newbie ID, then I am an asshole and coward. Unless there is a serious threat to privacy, stalker issues or a case of DT power abuse there is no need to create an MID. In my opinion only jerks create MIDs unless there is a darn good reason. I don't know why anyone would support MID.
