SSR Or Varun Dhawan with Alia?

There was talk that Dinesh Vijan, who will be making his directorial debut, would helm a project that would feature Saif Ali Khan and Parineeti Chopra. But the film has been put on hold and Vijan has decided to start work on another project that will feature Alia Bhatt and Sushant Singh Rajput.

A source close to the film reveals, "Alia has allotted her dates but they are still waiting for Sushant's dates. He has been sent the script but they have very little time because the actor is committed to Shekhar Kapur's Paani next year. Hence, the production house has decided to send the script to Varun Dhawan."

The film is apparently a new-age love story. Our source also reveals that Vijan is talking to Karan Johar, and, if all goes well, this would be the first collaboration between Dharma and Maddock Films.

When we asked Sushant Singh Rajput to comment, he reverted, saying "I would not be able to comment on it at this point of time."

Hmm... Not sure if Varun-Alia repeat pairing itni jaldi would be the best thing... depends on when this movie is gonna release. If in 2016-2017 then awesome 😃 Though I would like to see Sushant and Alia work together as well 😊

How many filmis is Varun doing? the guy is in every other movie that is been made 😆

Go for Sushant fresh pairing, or Tiger, because I doubt Sush would agree to this...

I'm happy about that though. I want him to do more films out of Dharma banner though (thankful for ABCD2 and Badlapur) so he can work with new people. 😊
Even Ranveer-Alia will be nice to see.

Ranveer and Alia, Idk If they would look good I can't picture them in mind. Even with Sush, I'm skeptical. Alia would look great with Ranbir tho, he looks like like older Varun😆 and so far she's had the best chemistry with Varun.

I'm excited about Badlapur and ABCD2 because it's a 3D dance film and Varun's a phenomenal dancer from what we've seen but I'm sure he's gonna push it to the limit. Oh yes, of course that doesn't mean anything but I'm saying that coz whichever directors name has come up, I think they've done good work/films - Homi, Mohit, Rohit hence I like that he may work with these people. 😊

Hmmm... Which other newcomers are there? I think her pairing with Shahid is gonna be fab. ⭐️

Vd and alia shouldn't work together for the next 3 to 4 years. Ssr and her might be an interesting combo
