12. Arjun Kapoor - 252 cr (4 films)
13. Ranveer Singh - 280 cr
14. Emraan Hashmi - 218 cr
15. Shahid Kapoor - 200 cr
Overseas Ranking as of September 2014 (in brackets, overseas collections converted to Indian rupees i.e Rs 60.5 per dollar)
1. Shahrukh Khan - $77.18 million ( 467 cr)
2. Aamir Khan - $76.55 million ( 463 cr)

8. Akshay Kumar - $14.25 million ( 86 cr)
For the worldwide ranking, we decided to keep things simple. The net collections from India would be added to the gross overseas collections. Only the Top 8 established stars both in India and overseas would be considered. The rest would retain their India ranking in the worldwide list too.
Aamir Khan
Rank 1 Aamir Khan: Salman topped the India ranking list, while Shahrukh took the top spot overseas. But when the total collections from India and overseas are combined, Aamir emerges as the top star. On an average, each Aamir film collects about 244 crore worldwide!
Dhoom 3 - 469 cr
Talaash - 144 cr
3 Idiots - 360 cr
Ghajini - 162 cr
Taare Zameen Par - 82 cr
Total - 1,217 cr (average 243.4 cr per film)
Rank 2 Shahrukh Khan: Easily the most consistent star both in India and overseas, Shahrukh would probably top the list if more than 5 or career films are taken into account. He could also be the only star in the history of Indian Cinema whose films have consistently made an impact worldwide in the last 15 years or so. But with films like Dhoom 3 and 3 Idiots, Aamir has overtaken him by a margin of 18 crore per film. Will the gap widen after the release of PK? Or will Happy New Year go on to be an all time grosser worldwide?
Chennai Express - 341 cr
Jab Tak Hai Jaan - 202 cr
Don 2 - 180 cr
Ra. One - 191 cr
My Name Is Khan - 212 cr
Total - 1,126 cr (average 225.2 cr per film)
Rank 3 Salman Khan: Leads by a huge margin in India, but not quite in the league of Aamir and Shahrukh overseas, Salman ranks at No 3 worldwide. The gap between him and his arch-rival Shahrukh Khan is just 2.2 cr per film! Infact, there is very little in it between the Khans, who are by far the most popular Bollywood actors in the world. It would take something very special from Ranbir or Hrithik to match up to the three legends of Indian Cinema who turn 50 next year!
Kick - 302 cr
Jai Ho - 149 cr
Dabangg 2 - 211 cr
Ek Tha Tiger - 262 cr
Bodyguard - 191 cr
Total - 1,115 cr (average 223 cr per film)
Rank 4 Hrithik Roshan: Hrithik should significantly increase the average collections of his last 5 films as his upcoming October release Bang Bang would replace one of his career's biggest disasters Kites. He retains his fourth spot.
Krrish 3 - 297 cr
Agneepath - 157 cr
Zindagi Naa Milegi Dobara - 134 cr
Guzaarish - 49 cr
Kites - 76 cr
Total - 713 cr (average 142.6 cr per film)
Rank 5 Ranbir Kapoor: With two huge blockbusters, one critically acclaimed success and two failures, Ranbir, regarded by many as one of the best actors in the country, takes the 5th spot. Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani is his biggest worldwide blockbuster so far.
Besharam - 77 cr
Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani - 252 cr
Barfi! - 145 cr
Rockstar - 88 cr
Anjaana Anjaani - 59 cr
Total - 621 cr (average 124.2 cr per film)
Rank 6 Ajay Devgn: The huge success of Singham Returns has helped Ajay tremendously. He has gone past Akshay and also taken his average above 100 crore per film.
Singham Returns - 167 cr (expected)
Satyagraha - 77 cr
Himmatwala - 53 cr
Son of Sardaar - 119 cr
Bol Bachchan - 126 cr
Total - 542 cr (average 108.4 cr per film)
Rank 7 Akshay Kumar: The failure of OUATIMD hurt him big time. It was expected to be his first 200 crore grosser, instead it ended up as his least worldwide grosser. The combined business of OUATIMD in India and overseas is less than Boss! His June release Holiday: A Soldier is never off duty collected 138 cr worldwide.
Entertainment - 87 cr
Holiday: A Soldier Is Never Off Duty - 138 cr
Boss - 76 cr
Once Upon Ay Time In Mumbaai Dobaara - 74 cr
Special 26 - 86 cr
Total - 461 cr (average 92.2 cr per film)
Rank 8 Saif Ali Khan: His romantic comedies have done well, but his most recent release Humshakals' was a failure worldwide. Race 2 is his biggest grosser to date.
Humshakals - 79 cr
Bullet Raja- 42 cr
Race 2 - 141 cr
Cocktail - 102 cr
Agent Vinod - 54 cr
Total - 418 cr (average 83.6 cr per film)
Note: Worldwide Total = India net + overseas gross. Entertainment taxes has been deducted from India business.
