An informal chat with Sanam Saeed on ZGH

Guys I came across dis on FB. :

Meeting Sanam casually at Caf 44 today, I asked her a couple of light questions that would get her opinion on her character without giving the story away...

Why do you think Zindagi Gulzar Hai works?

Sanam: It works because it has Fawad. It works because his fans have their heart throb in it. Plus, my character is a very difficult person and it intrigues them to see him struggling.

What do you like about your character?

Sanam: I like that she's afraid of nothing. She is very conscious of herself, as any girl in her situation would be, but she's a bold soul to attack her circumstances and her father the way she does.

Is there anything you would change about your character, Kashaf?

Sanam: I would complain a lot less

How much of Zaroon's personality is true to Fawad's actual personality?

Sanam: I can't say because I don't know Fawad personally at all.

Do you think you would fall for someone like him in college?

Sanam: If I were Kashaf...well, yeah I guess everyone would.

Do you like fairy tales and happy endings?

Sanam: Well yeah, who doesn't?

So, is he your knight in shining armour?

Sanam: No, not at all. She's (Kashaf) his knight in shining armour!

Think this is an old one have read it before but I love her honest and fortright answers. love this woman.

So Fawad was the USP of the show when it aired. 😊

Also Sanam said. Kashaf was the knight in shining armor for Zaroon. And surprisingly that's so true!!!😆

Yeah seems an old one, since it's before ZGH was aired. I came across it the first time nd posted here coz it gives insight into ZGH as well as Kashaf's character.

Honest truth is Fawad is the heartthrob and star and any show he will be part of will attract huge attention but beyond that it is the story and acting that will keep the audience glued. So overall ZGH was a complete package which ensured its huge success.

Liked her casual nature..she is a rockstar. ZGH worked coz it had everything in perfect balance😃 plus Fawad😉

Yes I suppose when the show got aired it was the Fawad factor dat made ppl watch it initially, but the show sustained and become popular coz it was amazing and everyone including Fawad contributed to it.

when sanam took ZGH she knew the name & fame of Fawad but she had no idea Kashaf will become a house hold name too & people will get crazy for sanam too 😆

This girl gives honest and straight answers... I really like that...
Yes for any show which has Fawad... He will be the USP.
But ZGH became successful because of good story & direction... Nd also it had Fawad.
