He didn't know how he had to tell her. He didn't know how to break it to her. Would her entire world fall apart if she even knew. Would her trust in him be shattered forever this time? Why had he been so stupid..only last night had they started afresh and here he was remembering just now. a grave, grave error he had committed. He didn't want to lose his wife again. No never again, he didn't know he even had the courage or the strength to see her walk away a third time; it would crush him. But he knew that this information would permanently dent their relationship, no..not even dent; it would break it into a million pieces, so spread apart thay even the idea of mending it qas out of the question. Should he even tell her? Their relationship could go on as it was, but no...she would find out one day, and that day would surely be worse than now. So now the question stood; suspended in air, their relationship held together by this one last thread; how did he tell her?

Maybe all of this was just a nightmare. A horrible, horrible nightmare and once she would wake up it would all go away. She needed to wake up. Right now. This pain needed to stop, it was just too much for her soul to handle. She pinched herself repeatedly, harder and harder with each consecutive attempt, all in vain. She cried bitter tears as she realized that this was real. That her reality was this messed up world with a lying husband whom she had loved so dearly. Why did she have to have it so hard? What had she ever done that had forced her into this specific life. Losing her parents, losing her husband. She had never done anything wrong except love without boundaries, trust without question and and place her faith in those whom she loved. Why did they always have to betray her? Maybe this was the life destined to her, maybe there was nothing else for her. Maybe all she would ever get in this world was heartbreak and more heartbreak. But she was weak. Too weak to stop loving him. To weak to walk away again. To weak to raise her daughter without a father. So she stood up from the cold, tiled floor and fulfilled her responsibility.
