Chapter 4- Trekking Day 2

The soft sun rays and cool breeze made Solang Valley look even more serene than it was. The noisy Trekking team was silent after their long journey and the place was so divine that they just silently wanted to feel every bit of it.

Rey sat on a small rock recording the most amazing place he has ever been to while Taani with the rest of the gang sat on the ground as requested by their guide.

"Goood morninggg Buddies" Greeted their enthusiastic guide, "Well, aaj humara actual pehla din hai trekking ka. So let me just brief you'll ki hum log kya kya karne wale hai. But before that let me tell you guys about each other. Iss baar humare beech different states ke log hai. We have people from Ammmchi Mumbaiii, (all the Mumbai-kars raised their hands howling and clapping) Alright alright!!! We have some Gujju's as well (Gujrati's clapped and raised their hands) and last but not the least we have our Delhi ki dilwale!!!" He pointed towards TaaRey as they were the only ones from Delhi.

Rey raised his hands and waved, he looked at Taani whom he was expecting to raise her hand too but instead she was busy reading the tour time table. Rey looked at the guide who was also waiting for her.

"tum delhi ki ho so haath upar karo" Rey's whisper went unheard and thus unanswered. So Rey raised his volume which caught not only Taani's but the entire crew's attention.

"Oye Dilliwali girlfriend haath upar karo"

Taani instantly looked at him and slowly tilted her head to find that everyone was staring at her. She gave everyone her forced fake smile and quickly raised her hand. The guide noticed the dark mehendi on her hand. He smiled and looked at the both of them,

"Looks like we have a honeymoon couple here" said the guide teasingly.

Rey gave a broad smile and Taani jumped up, "Nahi!!! Aisa kuch nai hai! We are not a couple!!" She turned only to find Rey recording her reaction. She annoyingly pushed the camera away from her.

The Guide looked at her mysteriously, "Oh I'm sorry, wo mehendi ke wajah se and kal office mein aap shaadi ke kapdo mein thi so I thought."

Taani stopped breathing, what on earth just happened!! The whole crew was staring at her.

Rey looked at Taani controlling his laughter, "Wo kya hai na sir, uski friend ki shaadi thi, Kaafi close friends hai. Aur aap tho ladkiyo ko jante hi hai. Jo kapde best friend pehnegi wo hi inhe bhi pehenna hai. Isliye isne dulhan ko company dene k liye waise type k kapde pehne the!!"

Taani got her life back. She could breathe now as everyone was kind off buying what crap Rey was selling to them. The guide laughed and continued talking about the trip as Rey looked at Taani and winked. Taani gave him an irritated expression but as soon as he looked elsewhere she gave a soft smile thinking that no matter how irritating he was, he wasn't a bad guy.

Soon it was evening and time for them for their first trekking sport.

"Zorbing" said the guide, "Zorbing kya hai yeh kinko pata hai?'' Most of them raised their hands including Rey.

Taani who didn't know, smirked and whispered, "Sachme pata hai ya ainvey Mumbai ki ladkiyo ko impress karne ke iye haath upar nikala"

"Wo kya hai na Ballika Vadhu, muje unhe impress karne ki zaroorat nai hai, wo already mere se impress ho chukki hai. Bilkul tumhare tarah."

Taani just gave him a sarcastic smile, and switched her attention to the guide. But looked at him from the corner of her eyes with a smile. Wondering that how come he has all these tacky answers?

"Well, Zorbing or like some people call it, globe riding or orbing is a recreational sport, in which two people will be secured inside a large transparent ball which is then rolled along the ground or down hills."

Everyone started clapping excitedly. Taani smiled and caught the strap of her bag. They had to choose partners. Taani instantly looked at Reyansh who was giving her his best smile. She knew whom he had chosen as his partner.

"Chalo we are next." He said moving ahead, giving her way to go. Taani just gave him a smile and nodded her head giving him a "Kabhi nai sudrega" look.

As soon as Taani got inside the ball that was the one without a harness. Rey jumped inside too with his camera tied around his neck,

"So?? Are you excited??"asked the guide as they were inside, "Miss Taani apko darr toh nai lag raha na? I mean ladkiya usually thoda darr jati hai"

"Aare iski guts ka apko koi idea nahi hai" Interrupted Rey, "Iski sukki hadiyo pe matt jayiye aap, isko chirr fadd doge na, toh 10 John Cena bahar niklenge."

The Guide giggled along with Rey as Taani sat in confused whether to be proud cause he thinks she isn't scared or to be upset cause he called her sukki haddi'.

Enthusiastic Rey looked at Taani, "Wow, I can't wait"

Ignoring what he just said she smiled back too, she kept her palms on the surface of the ball, the ball would start rolling any time.She looked at his camera, "Yeh har jagah camera leke jaana zaroori hai kya?"

"Aare record nai karunga toh apne video mein kaise dalunga aur..." he was about to continue when the giant ball started moving and before they could even realize they were rolling down the slope.

"wwoooaaahhh" yelled Reyansh as he was rolling upside down, at some point he was on the right and then at the left. The speed increased and Taani was over him and then Rey was over Taani. Soon the yelling turned into laughter as they glanced at each other as they were rolling. They separted, Taani bounced towards the right and then to the left again, they tried to hold each other's hands but the ball was sliding way to fast that they were not in the same position for even few seconds. Finally the rolling stopped and at the end Rey landed over Taani. They were still laughing as this was probably the best part of the trip until now.

As Taani was laughing, Rey glanced at her. She was completely lost in her joy, her eyes were closed as she was laughing way too hard, not that he didn't notice before but she was pretty, and the sound of her melodious laugh was a treat to listen. Strands of her hair on her face were distracting Rey. He was tempted to take it off as he wanted to see her properly. His eyes moved from her face to her hands which were clutching his shirt. His hands were on the sides as he was avoiding falling over her, he lifted himself a little keeping space between their body.

Taani on the other hand was having the best time of her life. She decreased the intensity of her laugh as she looked at Rey who was staring at her. She looked around at the walls of the ball. Rey quickly balanced himself and sat opposite her. Taani sat and started to adjust her clothes. Through the transparent wall they could see someone walking towards them to open the door for them to leave out.

Taani again looked at Rey who at the same time saw her. As soon as their eyes met they burst out laughing again. Finally after struggling they jumped out of the ball. Taani brushed her hair which was a mess right now. As she was walking she could hear her own voice, screaming and laughing. She turned and found Rey playing the video that he recorded while zorbing. Taani ran to him,

"Mujhe bhi dikhao"

They both again burst out laughing watching their own expression which at some point was terrifying and sometimes were funny. Taani kept her hand on his shoulder, "Kitne ajeeb lagte ho yaar tum iss video mein"

Rey feeling offended, "Oh hello excuse me, khud ko dekho pehle ! Khud makdi movie ki chudail lag rahi hai"

Taani looked at him seriously and then again burst out laughing. Some guys from their group walked to him and Rey was about to show them the recording too.

"Nahi, nahi nahi. Main chudail lag rahi hu aur tum unhe dikha rahe ho?" She said controlling her laughter as she was pulling the camera.

Rey couldn't speak as he was laughing way too hard. Both of them played the pulling camera game when finally Rey gave up and took the camera promising her he won't show it to anyone.

Later after their dinner Taani walked inside her small base camp tent still laughing and giggling. Taani sat on her sleeping bag, She looked mysteriously at Rey who walked inside her tent. He kept his bag pack and sleeping bag next to hers. She looked at him surprised,

"Kya? Ab yeh tent bhi mere saath share karoge?"

As Rey was settling, "Wo kya hai na Dilliwali girlfriend, tum toh janti hi ho zamana kitna kharab hai. I don't feel safe anymore, yaha pe mere izzat ko khatra hai."

Taani rolled her eyes as he continued, "Toh maine socha ki har tent 2 logo ko share karna hai. Tum bhi akeli main bhi akela ,Tum bhi delhi ki main bhi delhi ka. Aur muje pata hai tumme bohot guts hai so tum meri raksha karogi. Isliye yaha aa gaya"

Giving her his best mischievous smile he ended his speech. Taani nodded her head and murmured, "Nautanki"

"Heard that" he snapped as she tugged inside her sleeping bag. Rey shrugged his shoulder as he found himself so funny, he opened his laptop and put on his headphone started editing his video till the point where he couldn't take control on his sleep anymore.

With laughter and a walking a step ahead in their friendship they ended their Day 2 of trekking.
