Murders as you know are people to take lives out of humans and are subjected to capital punishment.

Social Murders are people who other then leaving a pumping heart and traumatized mind murders a persons dignity. Yes this is a very sensitive topic and if by now u don't get it then thanks for reading 😊

This has been a question in my mind after reading / hearing /following few stories.

Does social murders deserve Capital punishment instead of 7 years or 14 years of confinement?

PS - feel free to express helps us understand how the laws are laid based on some intellect tought process. Thanks

there should be capital punishment for these kind of crimes, however in the language of the law time has come it be made gender inspecific.

I just finished reading this thread in totality and it has left me really very disturbed. Just imagining that these things happen to young women in real life is indeed very nerve-wrecking.

Being modern and evolving is one thing and letting your dignity go loose is another. They definitely do not go hand in hand, for a woman AND for a man. I loved the movie Aitraaz, where Akshay Kumar was supposedly raped by Priyanka Chopra. The concept of him fighting for justice left me spell-bounded. The laws should be made similar for both the genders.

But having said that, women are of course subjected to these atrocities musch more than men are (realistically). A woman willingly indulging in sexual activities with someone is one case and someone forcing himself on a woman are by no means, similar. I do not have a say on pre-marital sex but I don't think extra-marital sex is the right thing to do. But even with that, both the indulgents are willing and nothing is being forced on anyone. How can one even compare the severity of these two things? Just thinking about this leaves me with a troubled mind, I can just imagine the plight of someone who goes through this. Usually, a woman guards her dignity with pride and is constantly aware of it and when someone strips her down, one can just take the perpetrator to court and put him on the same level as other trouble-creators? 🤢 And call it an accident since she is evolved and modern? I hope not...

For Heaven's sake, there are various ways to satisfy one's desires than to force oneself upon someone! 🤢 I think these people should be given to the victims and they should be allowed to punish these monsters. Nothing can soothe their mental trauma but at least, they can punish the crime-doer in the way they think is right.

I know raunaq! And moreso, Im thinkin about the family of the kid, her parents whose pain no counselling can heal! We are not even talkin about the direct victim here, its just going to be a bad turmoil for the family for life now..wonder how they can cope! I dont know what punishment will help them feel that yes, there was justice done. Any punishment wont be enough I guess....
