Hrithik weaves a magical web/Abhi-Rani

Recently, heartthrob Hrithik Roshan had enough reasons to celebrate. He'd just won an award at a prestigious awards function and also finished shooting for Ashutosh Gowariker's Jodha Akbar. And from the first word from people who've seen him create magic on screen, he's ready to stake the claim at all awards next year too for his performance as the Moghul emperor. Thus the reclusive actor came out and let his hair down and was seen with wife Suzzane at a suburban nightclub swinging to the latest chartbusters. He even dragged wifey on the dance floor and the too made quiet an adorable sight. The next day, he was seen having a brunch with his parents at a five-star caf and the Roshans were engrossed in an animated conversation. Discussing Krrish 2 maybe. But there was no respite as onlookers and fans kept coming in hordes seeking autographs and wanting to pose with their favourite star. And Hrithik duly obliged.

There's a lot to learn from this well-mannered true star for the brash young brigade of actors. Ask the unit members of Jodha Akbar who all received a personalised present from Hrithik after pack up one day, and he'd picked up the presents himself knowing each person's taste.

Abhi miffed with Rani for Yorkshire no show

There's much talk about Rani's impending nuptials with the Chopra's scion and she seems to start a new phase in her life. But if Rani is looking for wedding planning tips from her erstwhile friend Abhishek Bachchan, they aren't coming. In fact, the two aren't even on speaking terms according to our source. The rift has been widening since the day Ash came into Abhishek's life and Rani made it known that she wouldn't want to be associated with the Bachchans any more after she turned down an invite for an awards show, which happens to be the Bachchan home ground. So when Abhishek returned to Mumbai to shoot for Pradeep Sarkar's Laga Chunri Mein Daag, it was pay back time. Rani who plays the lead in the film was expecting at least a cordial approach from Abhi on the sets. But as soon as he arrived, he locked himself in his van and started getting ready for his shot, despite knowing that Rani was already on the sets. And when the shot was called he just went in front of the camera finished the scene and came back to his van. This went on all through the day as he just refused to acknowledge Rani's presence on the sets, leaving her ashfaced (pun intended). Thankfully Rani will be saved more awkward moments as Abhishek's is only a guest appearance in the film. But does this mean, a final parting in the ways of Bunty Aur Babli.
