Sanam and Aahil are smoking together and I can't wait for the progression in their story...I feel that Sanam hasn't realised as yet that she loves Aahil, I don't think she quite understands her own emotions (very much like her father). So I would love to see Sanam slowly becoming aware of her attraction towards her husband.

From the beginning of QH1, we were given a back story of the show. A tale of two brothers... and it went on from there... Ayaan, Asad and then there is Zoya. So the story began and we wondered what to expect.

Unlike most of you, I did not know about Qubool Hai when it first made its Debut. But I was not a stranger to soaps in general. American soaps, Australian soaps, and Indian Serials, I watched from every corner of the globe.

It was only this year, very early April or late March.. can't remember, 2014, I was home and happened to be switching the channels and somehow stopped on this one. Zee. I don't know what was the magnet pulling me in, BUT it involved this good looking guy and a beautiful girl. I did not know the actors names not even the characters' names at the time. However, the scene shown took place at Rashid's mansion. The girl wore a simple white gown and he did too. I gathered after a few minutes that there was a funeral that had just taken place. The girl was his wife, and he had been looking for her. She had disappeared and gone to the police station to visit her dad and only had just returned. Him confronting her, snapping at her, their interaction.. pure chemistry. I was HOOKED. After the eppy was finished, I checked for the name. Qubool Hai. I knew I had to continue watching this amazingly intriguing show.

Unfortunately, time did not permit. I was teaching full time and had also started my degree studies. However, one day in May, a friend of mine told me to check out a show on Zee. And then it dawned on me. What about the other show that gripped my attention. I flipped through the menu/info looking for the name. Qubool Hai. I found the show. I started rewatching that night and to my surprise, a character, looking just like the previous girl I saw months ago, but with a different name. No longer Zoya but now Sanam. She was getting ready to marry some guy. I asked myself what happened to Zoya, Asad, etc.

I came on the internet and hunted for more info. I wanted more of what I saw back in March/April. I was happy to see online videos of the show dating back to the very first eppy in 2012. You know what? I sat down and watched every single one within a month. Yep. two years of episodes in a month. Came home from work, gave lessons to my students on the days I was not at the university, and at 9 pm, I would start watching. I would sometimes stay up till 1 am watching since the ASYA story pulled me in. Yes, it was a different Asad, but the chemistry was phenomenal. Their romance drove me into a world I did not know how to explain. Once again I would dive on the net to find out about these characters and their actors. Surbhi Jyoti as Zoya and Karan Singh Grover as Asad. I started to root for this couple.as of lately I have learnt has been called ASYA. Talk about chemistry. I loved the growth of their relationship but hated how Asad always seemed to hurt her or embarrass her just to protect the villain in their lives that he had no idea about, My heart broke when she cried, my eyes twinkled with tears when the love blossomed and I wanted to scream when Dilshad did the un thinkable. Sanam and Nasma stood by the door as Dilshad is trying to coax Asad to get married for her sake because of the horrid things Shireen said. But with a flip of a switch, Dilshad asked in front of Zoya, " Do you love Zoya." Over and over again, she asked him, and Asad stood there knowing he was on the stand. The woman he secretly loved was waiting to hear his answer. Then the cat out of hell broke the silence and spoke for him, but not the words he was probably saying in his heart. I remember clearly throwing a book I had nearby at the screen. But Dilshad, like the cupid she had become decided on the fate of her son and the woman she wanted to be her daughter in law. Hence the excitement began.

No longer was I going to be switching channels on what to watch. I was PERMANENTLY a Qubool Hai fan. I HATED the ZOYAAN eppies but celebrated at the reunion of ASYA. I enjoyed watching the wedding track and after. BUT was devastated when I saw the reason for my previous confusion... Sanam?Zoya?

The Massacre was something that haunted me and tore me up. This beautiful, in love couple, would not get to raise the children they so wanted and created from their love. But in a bitter sweet world, the daughter saved grew up to look just like her mama, with some of her mama's personalities, while with many of her daddy's. It was a treat to learn Surbhi was going to continue on the show.

QH2 progressed slowly and I was waiting impatiently for Sanam to meet the dashingly attractive Aahil. From what I understand, It was said that QH2 was deemed to be a love story for these two new leads. It was actually quite obvious when you saw Sanam involved in her own world, and aahil, in his that these two were destined to be together, to fall in love. They had not shared one screen frame yet, but their chemistry was blazing. As days went by I sat waiting for them to meet and then it happened. The passion, chemistry and tension was there. From the moment he burnt her eatery, grabbed her hand pulled her to the car, bent over her and held her close.. almost nose to nose... them within kissing distance.. you knew, that their love was going to be dripping in heat, passion, romance..

I was happy actually to see the show revisiting ASYA but sad that they also revisited the massacre scenes. I wondered why put fans through this. Why? Wasn't killing their beloved couple enough torture. They had to remind us of it?

Finally Sanam moves into Aahil's house to work and though it moved slow IMO at first, I was rooting for them. The same humiliation type thing Zoya had to put up with in the beginning, same Sanam had too. Both came from the men they were destined to love.

But when the awaited moment of Aahil falling in love with Sanam came, I was happy. For everyone, I think it started at different times. You know when his love started to twinkle for me? When she saved his Badi Ammi from the snake. Every other fool behind was screaming and backing away. He was trying to think of which angle to pull the snake away. Sanam (reminding me of her mother.. acting before thinking ) snapped into action. She went into the closet, pulled out a blanket, threw it on the snake, reached out gathered it up and threw it off the bed. Aahil was IMPRESSED. His attitude towards her started to change. and I? I was as pleased as punch..

I'm skipping through a lot now as not much space but we are here. They are married. Their destiny. They are in love (secretly right now) but they are. They have been given a golden opportunity and they do not realize how golden. His dream of her as his wife with five kids is their destiny too. I loved that the writers threw that in before anyone had any idea how soon this couple would be married. The Mehindi ceremony was also a hint of this. Sanam looked like the bride, Aahil the groom. Their clothing choices matched. Was that God's work? Then another twist in fate.. Nida's henna fell on Sanam's hand. and someone says that is God's work. Nida gets upset and rubs the liquid off Sanam's hand, but too late. It did what it was supposed to do. She was then and forever will be Aahil's love. Aahil's aunt says " The darker the stain, the deeper the love of the groom. And the stain on Sanam's hand was pretty dark.

One thing we must admit. Gul writes BEAUTIFUL love stories for her leads. Sometimes drawn out too much before the actual I love you comes. She knows what she is good at, and i think after what happened in QH1, with that Zoyaan track, she would have learnt her lesson.

They love their work.. love making shows, creating characters and writing stories. BUT they also like having their show remain alive while others are dwindling support and losing a spot on TV. So i'm trusting she won't mess up. She knows what we want. But she is NOT going to give us a huge bite at once right now. However, she'll give us what we want.

Surbhi Jyoti and Karanvir Bohra have become one powerful force. They have brought two characters alive and the level of their on screen/off screen chemistry is one I think a lot of other serials wished they had. After QH 1 when I thought Surbhi could not possibly have chemistry with anyone else beating the ones she had in QH1, I was proven wrong. Hers and Karanvir's chemistry surpassed anything anyone ever expected, and they are the reasons I am still here, more in love with their story every day.

I am dying for them to finally say those three little words, " I love you"

I am dying for their SR. as I know it will be one that will require me to bring out the ice, towels and buckets of water,. because the heat coming from my screen will feel like an oven.

I am looking forward to then see their life develop. There is soo much story for this couple and I excitedly wait for it.

Just wanting to go back to something.. A few months ago, not long after QH2 started, I kept wondering, why? why do they keep mentioning the massacre, why keep showing clips of it.. why put us through that nightmare again. And then it dawned on me.. being an avid soap watcher for many years... the twists in time. The more painful the death of the leads.. the more they revisit the the scenes of what took place, the constant painful reminders of the traumatic day.. the greater the twist. Zoya and Asad, if not both, but Zoya is alive. The episodes last week seemed to hint that. No bodies were found? Big red flag. The police took over the mansion that day? The old man knew a lot of the true reason behind the murders. Tanu went into hiding. Dilshad left with the secret in her and lied to protect the children. How did the old man know it was a planned thing? How did he know it was a betrayal of trust? Where did he get that info from? He knows more than he said but cannot say too much. Why/? To protect the innocent. And the children who are now 22 years old. Two beautiful girls with different experiences in life.. separated as children are now destined to be reunited. These children seemed to have forgotten their childhood memories. Sanam cannot remember watching her parents lying in a pool of blood on the floor. And Seher. ? She has more memories buried deep down i think.

Their history and SAHIL's relationship are connected. Her parents.. his step mother whom he worships.

Another obstacle to overcome for they would eventually have to choose where their priority, their commitment will lie. Him for the woman he thinks saved him from a terrible, abusive father.. and her for the parents she lost as a little girl, for her sister, cousin and grandmother.

SAHIL will always find their way back to each other for their love is TRUE love and their love destiny has been written in the stars from the beginning of time. The pain may be great, by their love will be greater. So let the force be with us as the story unfolds and as we watch this couple go to hell and back to hold on to each other, their love and their future. Once They come to know of each other's love, their is NO WAY they are letting go.

Okay.. sorry if I bored some of you. Wake up... The coffee is brewing and the baby is in the bathtub.

I really appreciate reading it , well writing and summarize well QH. I don't know why I can't think that Zoya was alive or even Asad ( I wished to see them back, but unfortunately!!!).

As rehaan was a catalyst of aahil's feeling toward Sanam, I guess Seher will be also for Sanam.

As you say, we have to keep strong for the waves of feeling that we will have to face in Saahil lives.
