Do you agree that Apoorva (Apu, Dev,Armaan) should be seen as a not so rich person in some serial?

As till now he has come in two serials and a movie in which he has been given a role of a very rich person. I think directors should give him a chance to prove his talent in other areas.

well i think in both JJKN and kaajjal, he has got immense potential to prove his talent and he rightly did so. and about rich roles, well thats how serails are, which hero do u find not rich in today's TV. almost every hero is rich and a successful business. so thats the trend i guess. but as far as talent is concerned, i think in JJKn he showed us his immense talent with lovem hate, frustration, jealousy, and many different shades, and in kajjjal, he has once again outclassed every actor on indian TV.

thats my perception, people can think differently.

I think he will bring the best of his talent in any role. But it should be a hero's role. Many of his Bollywood attempts were overlooked because he had to play second fiddle - to the main hero. But he shot to fame with the JJKN role. Hopefully, he continues to accept roles which are multi-pronged and where he is cast as a hero and not as a side-kick character.

Very well said, i am with you on this one......

it's like he has that rich-sophisticated-aristotratic look....what do do....?

It's like Govida....no matter what he wears and what role he plays, he still will look sadak chapp....

AA looks too richie-rich....he may potray the role of a kadka but the look of a aristocrat will stay....

BUT he being brilliant actor can act out any role to the hilt....oh I think that man is lovely!!!!!!!!!!!!!!😛

Hey Anu,

good question. But perhaps you have forgotten that he got a small part to portray as not so rich-person when Dev became Raju Rangeela. 😛 Initially everybody may have thought that Raju Rangeela is a look-alike. Nobody would've felt it is Dev in disguise. The kind of language he used, he sounded like an illiterate. He was behaving in a silly manner and spoke funny kind of tapori or village type language and said things like ' a spoon phull of soogar' instead of 'a handful of sugar'.😆 I specially loved him singing that mougli song and when he stammers like Shahrukh saying, 'kk...kaun...d.d.d.don'😆

Raju Rangeela was not a rich person. Apurva has got the chance to act in a not so rich role, when he played the role of Raju Rangeela, even if it be for a brief period. But the kind of language he used and the kind of manner he behaved didn't connect him to Dev. We felt that he is another person who looks like Dev.

We started feeling that he could be Dev, when he started behaving more like Dev. If he were to play the character of a not so rich person or an illiterate person, he would speak quite like Raju Rangeela and behave like him, don't you feel so?😳

I am sure that he can play both rich debonair and not so rich tapori type character pretty well. He just have to make changes in his getup, hairstyle and style of speech and yes his famous ear to ear smile😃

I strongly feel he has the talent of our Big B. The way Big B was able to portray the role of the villager kind of person and the stylish Don in the movie 'Don'. Apu is also capable of creating the exact kind of magic onscreen by his behaviour. 😳

He would look 100% like a normal Indian whom we meet on the streets or come across in villages. But unlike the usual illiterate Indians, he would appear more stylish and perfect. But the interesting part is Apurva can be stylish without getting into a stylish costume. He has style and glamour even if he wears the costume of a villager or a tapori.😳

Apu should really need to try out the role of a farmer, a mechanic or do the full-fledged role of a character like Raju Rangeela. He would surely charm everybody with his smile, speech and attitude. I am eagerly waiting towards seeing him in such a role. He can sweep you off your feets in a not so glamourous or rich character just the way, he is doing now as the dashing and stylish DPS. It has got nothing to do with whether he is playing role of a rich person or poor person. One thing is to be noted is that, he didn't look like a foreigner or as a model or as a rich man, when he portrayed the role of Raju Rangeela. He appeared as a common man, but with a bit of a style and a character obsessed by movies(remember him quoting Don, Bobby etc)😆

I really loved Apu as Raju Rangeela and Dev Prathap Singh just like i liked him in the role of the jealous Armaan or the role of Rajiv in Pardes, where he had to handle a negative role. It is itself a big proof for the fact that he is a fabulous actor who need to be given more opportunities and chances to showcase his hidden talents. I feel he also should get to portray the middle class man who has to go through the constant pressures in society doing a 10 to 5 job. He would really look great doing such a role and that is one area, he hasn't ventured into. I hope he would soon do that kind of role in future😳
