Zoya was sleeping peacefully in the arms of her beloved. Her mr. Khan! It has been 23 yrs to there marriage. But still sleeping in his arms still gives her the same feelings she used to get like the first time. They are now parents of two young females. Sanam & Seher! There 22yr old twins! Zoya is still the same old zoya. Bubbly, messy, talkative & clumsy. Asad is still the same old asad. Strict, caring, overprotective & loyal. They both still fight like cats & dogs. Dilshad had happily turned over her role of mediator to her grand children sanam & seher. Sanam is more like asad. Traditional, matured & soft spoken. Seher is mostly like her ammi bubbly, talkative & messy. Asad & zoya never forced there kids to do anything against there wish. But at the same time they never turned there kids in to a spoiled brat. They guided them properly & also taught culture & values. Sanam had selected her career in culinary & is running a big motel in Bhopal Dilshad motels! Where as seher has opted a career in journalism & she is an investigative journalist working for Times of India news paper. Seher's crazy way of investigating & publishing journals almost gave asad heart attacks just like zoya used to do in her young age. But still he never pulled back his kid from what she wants to do.
It was zoya's 45 th b'day! Ever since they have been together her b'days are special to him. No matter what's her age was. Zoya still gets excited like a kid when he surprises her on her bday. Asad, sanam & seher had planned for small surprise bday party for zoya at 12pm in the midnight only with there family. Anyways there will be a grand bday party tomorrow in sm with the rest of the family. It was a routine for past 23 yrs. every ones bday in the family will be celebrated together.
( here no zoyaan or haira. Ayra got married. Razia is in jail. Rashid is alive. Asya got married along with najran. Farnik is also a couple here. Sameera was farhaan's first wife. She died 2 yrs before farnik nikkah. Every one has kids. Gaffour is also alive but have health problems. Badi be passed away few years back due to old age.)
Just when the clock was striking 12 o clock asad called zoya. Zoya was surprised when asad called her at this midnight.
Asad: happy bday zoya.
Zoya gave her beautiful dimple smile.
Zoya: thank you.
Asad pecked her lips. They heard a noise from outside.
We are coming inside!
Asad immediately left zoya as he knows sanam & seher will enter inside & he doesn't want his young daughters to witness there parents kissings. Zoya giggled.
Sanam & seher came inside.
Sanam & seher: happy birthday ammi!
Zoya went & hugged her kids.
Zoya: thank you beta!
Sanam: ammi close your eyes & come with us.
Zoya obeyed. Sanam & seher caught both sides of her hands & took her to hall.
Sanam: now you can open your eyes!
Zoya opened her eyes only to see the hall beautifully decorated with pink & white balloons. Just like the same way asad had decorated years back on her bday after there nikkah.
Zoya's came back from her thoughts by hearing dilshad's voice.
Dilshad came & hugged her & kissed her forehead.
Dilshad: saal gira mubharakho beta!
Zoya: thank you ammi.
Sanam was arranging candles in zoya's bday cake. Seher came & kept a bday cap on zoya's head.
Seher: ammi now we have to cut the cake.
Zoya blew the candle lights & everyone was singing happy bday to you! Zoya took asad's hands along with her & they cut the cake together.
Seher was capturing the photos in her cam.
Seher: kya pyaar hai inn dono mein!
Dilshad: seher!
Asya smiled at there antics. Asad & zoya fed cake each other & then along with there kids & ammi!
I know it was bakwaas! But last week when I switched on QH after ages to see seher's entry I saw a scene where sanam saying that today is my ammi's bday! My heart ached as I remembered zoya's bday last year! So I wrote this os!
