I have visited both chittor and kumbhalgarh...and was in awe...kumbhalgarh represents the pinnacle of Rajput architecture with respect to defence, (though not very artistic and pleasing to eye as the other forts in rajasthan)..it was considered to be the strongest fort in the entire rajputana at that time...

Jauhar kund in chittor palace still gives one goosebumps...😭

and omg!!! im jealous, you are lucky to have been to both, i have been to chittod, but it was long time ago, and didnt get to see much due to time constraints! yes I noticed that kumbhalgarh was for defense and its quite simple otherwise! 😆

I didnt get to see the jauhar kund in chittod palace, i would like to see that!😕
