Except Dev, other characters were still bearable. He is not even slow but stupid also. Hoiw could he thought of Payal taking out without asking Durga and going against the doctor. This is not courtesy, he knows Payal as a friend, but now she is going through mental trauma and is taken care or I should say in the custody of Durga/Dayal...at least for once he had thought of taking permission...but no...seems like yesterday Goenka germs in him were at their peak!!!

In the end victim changed the statement in favour of his family. He came back. Tried questioning direct. No one answered. He tried to get info with his name. Even then he didn't get anything. No one in the family wants to talk to him. His mother EB him on sanskaar nonsense.

Now if he has to needle his family first he has to convince his mother to stand by him. For that he needs proof. That too solid one. Dev's mother is his Achilles heel who can be easily manipulated by Rajnath and co. So he tries getting info via RTI files. What happens. He gets an assassination attempt along with his friend. He thinks it is because of RTI files. He keeps his friend safe.

Problem is even with his name Dev cannot info. If he goes anywhere news reaches Sakshi Goenka and she manipulates Suchitra or pass an indirect threat to whoever helping Dev. We have seen that.

Now in front of him comes a lady who is behaving strangely. She is a US returnee and actively involved in NGO activities. Takes care of the rape victim Payal. Ideally Durga from Dev's perspective should be neutral. I mean her actions shouldn't raise suspicion on her any motive other than a genuine concern for society. But that is not. He sees this lady contradicting. Not once , but many times.

It is only his interaction with her that is not tracked by his family. What Dev and Durga speak is of least bother to Sakshi and Suchitra well she loves Durga. So just think from whom Dev can get info. Enough info to convince his mother on what he is trying to do and then go ahead with his plan. Durga only as that is one thing no one cares for.

Even Sakshi thinks Durga is using Dev just to hold on to Shaurya. By the time that equation changes it has to be at a dramatic point.

For me Dev is still standing on the shore thinking he can get the info by standing there. But it is not truth. He has to get into the dirt, get into deep dirt if he has to uncover truth. He cant get his Nithya if he does not want to take chances. His Nitya has gotten herself to deep dirt. If he wants her he has to get into the same dirt.

@atominis coming to Dev confronting his family. The major problem I see from his POV and from his nature is the fact that Payal changed the statement.

He does not have any evidence on why she changed the statement. It is easy to suspect everyone , but to confront your dear and near ones you need solid proof if you a person with some integrity and some respect for relation.

I liked the way Durga shut him up today. I dont ask you how after knowing about Shaurya you are living in the same house. Then why are you questioning me. But the only problem was in asking that question she gave away the hint that her rheotric Shaurya is innocent is false.
