Shooting has resumed on the sets of Sahara One's 'Ghar Ek Sapna', after an extended lunch break
Hurried Harsh
Actor Harsh Chhaya has to rush off to another location. "Sometimes it gets very frenetic-hopping from one location to another but my love for acting makes these things look trivial," says Harsh before dashing off.
That leaves just actors Alok Nath, Himani Shivpuri, Shammi and Barkha Madan on the sets.
Alok's natter
Alok is sitting in a corner nursing a cup of herbal tea and chatting. He says, "I can never dream of going away from television—these are my roots. TV helped me survive when the film industry was not willing to open its doors to me. Also, where are those kinds of films today that require character artistes like me? Nowadays, heroes play every role—from a protagonist to a villain to a comedian. So, why not do television, which is offering me good roles, good exposure and great money?" he asks.
Himani's generous act
Meanwhile, the director announces an emotional scene between Himani Shivpuri, who is shown talking on the phone to the protagonist Kakul (Shayantani Ghosh, not present). The scene takes a lot of time to get approved, much to the irritation of Himani who remarks, "We are not planning an army operation here. Yeh acting hai bhai, it cannot move dot on the script and screenplay!" After the scene is okayed, Himani goes off to her room for a costume and make-up change.
Meanwhile, the spot-boys arrive with two bags full of ice-creams, a treat from Himani to the unit for having got back the baggage she lost at the Mumbai airport, while coming back from Dubai. "I had lost all hope of getting back the baggage when I did not hear from the airport authorities for almost a week after losing it. But the crew members had placed a bet that if I did get it back, I would treat them to ice-cream. Hence the treat!" she explains.
Action!
It's time again for some action as the shot gets readied and Himani, after a chat with veteran Shammi, who was catching a nap until now, sprints off to give the shot. Meanwhile, Barkha, who has no scenes for the next two hours, goes through the screenplay handed to her and then retires for a peaceful nap, instructing that she shouldn't be disturbed!
