It's a fan based show at the end of the day, so the only shame is that Kushal obviously doesn't have enough of a following to support his stay in JDJ. Karan has made vast improvements so it's also a shame that people are intentionally spiting him and his efforts.

Karan is so much better than Kushal...

I think contestants who come on the show as a non dancer and improve their way as the show goes on, deserve the MOST appreciation than those that are already trained dancers. Karan's journey has been so applaudable and commendable. He deserves to be on this show. He's come such a long way...he's improved so much.

This is my first jhalak and the format of this show itself is to be blamed...but maybe contestants participate as it is a big platform to be noticed..It is not a level playing field at all any which way...

You have professionals like Shakti and TJ who are put in there to raise the standard of dance, if they perform well and dont win then it is sad and if they win also it is not a great win as they are performing against absolute non dancers in some cases.

In case of Shakti going by popularity and performance, she is an outlier and so good - they could have given her the trophy even before the first dance..I mean without doing all the 3 month drama..because she is one of the best dancers..

TJ would anyway find it difficult to get votes...

Mouni's a trained dancer in Kathak and also trainer (some online profiles) and has an advantage.. so did Kushal who I heard is a Shiamak SPB or trainer...also sophie is trained..

Akshat - difficult for a kid to be getting votes where other popular stars are participating...must applaud the kids' spunk...and Vaishnavi who is a kid herself..

In a way it is also sad that non dancers like Krittika, Pooja, Sreesanth(good but not trained), Sukhwinder, Malishka etc., got eliminated because of being pitted against other trained or popular stars...they were improving..

I have been going to dance classes (bharatanatyam, ballroom, shiamak) and aerobics zumba etc, from childhood for decades now and ...one thing is sure is girls are likely to pick up dancing and aerobic steps more easily than men..

My personal opinion is that of the contestants left behind - the girls are not only trained and good but also the male choreos are better...at this point starting to feel that the female choreos are great on ideas but when it comes to perfecting the dance steps of the contestants, feel that they may not be of the same caliber when it comes to teaching..

...so male contestants are at slight disadvantage being untrained to start with(bar Akshat ...dont know his background )and you can see the incompletion of steps, the wrong posture, technique (it is their choreos job to correct this )...so definitely popularity and votes are the only way the balance will be there...

It is not a fair contest and the outcome cannot be fully fair also...that is the format of this event...to increase the trp's by raising the emotions and bp levels of the fans / audience about what is fair or not and getting them involved from episode 1 till the finale..

May the best or luckiest win!

P.S: Don't mean to offend anyone, I think the show is good and enjoy the performances and the journey of all the contestants...they themselves seem to be in harmony inspite of competition so who are we to fight on their behalf LOL..
