Parineeti: I am not as good looking as an actress is expected to be

Parineeti Chopra proudly states, "Anything less than energetic - I find it boring. I don't know if it's my Punjabi blood but it's not unnatural, that's how everyone should be". On 'Look Who's Talking with Niranjan', the vibrant Chopra resonated of her perpetually happy self. Talking about her past, shattered illusions about filmdom and more, Parineeti and host Niranjan engaged in an intense dialogue on the latter's chat show.

Did you know? Parineeti still does not own a home and says, "I am a gareeb actor in that aspect. The kind of house I want to buy is a little more expensive than it should be."

The quirky film star never thought she was going to be an actress as she didn't fancy the industry and thought the glam lot had a very easy job to do -wear nice clothes, shoot in London and quote 3 lines! Little did she anticipate herself turn into one! Looking back at her journey so far she states, "I am not an insecure person at heart, but I am also aware that I am not as good looking as an actress is expected to be. There are girls who look stunning on screen, I don't think I look stunning, but I am working hard."

Looks like host Niranjan's endeavor of bringing forth a well hidden side of the glam brigade is on course! So we hear, apparently, the rising star opened up about her supposed link up with director Maneesh Sharma who actually gave her, her first break.

But for that reason people think you are a great actor. You know what I mean.

I think Parineet is a lot of prettier than Sonam. I personally think Sonam has a big misconception about her looks. And if we apply Sonam's logic to my opinion then it's pretty sad to be a bad actor and an average looker. 😆

Her insecurity about her looks and overall self is actually sad to be honest. She continuously says the same things as if she is the most ugliest person ever. Anyways, I think she has potential but she needs to step out of that YRF Punjabi loud character.

You need to love yourself before others can love you Pari. She's pretty maybe not as pretty as some of the other actresses but there's beauty in simplicity too.

Oh my goodness. Get it together girl. Talking down on one's self is the worst thing you can do to yourself.
