My POV is mainly based on the updates and so am not sure if my view is completely right or not but am writing this post keeping in mind the character of Kalpana and now this new Kalpana and the late Suhana who is supposed to be dead in the serial. No comparison between actors are being made in my post so kindly avoid bringing Rachana and Asha's comparison and their acting in this post.
Suhana who is a rich girl and who is dead is supposed to look more like Pakhi who was bubbly and sweet which was Pakhi's roles initially. She loved wearing short dresses, modern outfits and eating pastas and hated Indian food and drinks mainly green tea and enjoys the comfort like every rich girl loves. Pakhi also was shown the same and so Suhana looks similar to Pakhi's character of a brat before the Rakhi marriage. Since she is dead, I do not think this new Kalpana will be shown having traits of Suhana.
Old Kalpana was shown to be independent of Kamla and her family and believed in herself and achieving the dreams of her parents. I loved her for her confidence in herself and even though she loved Raghav, she believed only in her talent and always brought in between the rich and poor difference that existed between them. After the Rakhi marriage, Kalpana was shown as a soft and sweet girl who feels for Pakhi as well and more of the sweet side but I did not like this character as she was no longer strict with Raghav and was more shown weak. She then was shown to be dependent on Kamla and was made to work as a waitress in the cafe which was ridiculous for the CVs to show a today's generation girl to be dependent on Kamla so much. But still the strict Kalpana was shown in bits and pieces where she challenged Pakhi and supported her love for Raghav.
Now this new Kalpana aka Suhana is shown to be completely dependent on Kamla and her father and is shown to be having no dreams. I know that she has just recovered from the accident but still the story seems to be showing a love story of Suhana and Aryan instead of Kalpana aka Suhana's dreams and makes Suhana look more like Pakhi having nothing to do in her life except roam around Kamla and now Aryan.
Where does the bai's daughter's dream come in all this. Suhana might inherit Diwan's property and will become memsaab without having to do anything but just sitting on the bed and enjoying travelling by cars and AC and all just like Pakhi earlier used to love doing in the Kapoor house.
Now if Raghav comes in, he will feel an affection for this new Kalpana who is from a rich family but this Kalpana is totally different than the one whom he loved who wanted to achieve her dreams of her own. This new Kalpana seems to be doing absolutely nothing in the terms of working and being independent. Now if she leaves Aryan for Raghav, it makes no sense as now everyone in the serial except for Kamla are rich. The main difference between the poor and rich is completely lost 😕
The serial will now again show that Suhana aka new Kalpana might fall again for Raghav who has not even been divorced and will go directly from Diwan mansion to Singhania mansion. Suhana does not take effort of making any food for her father like Kalpana used to do for Vitthal and Kamla. The hard working girl is completely lost and made a confused soul not knowing what to do and where to go. She seems to be loving to travel in cars and the sweetness of Kalpana is not in her. She is being portrayed as a mixture of Kalpana and Pakhi.
I just hope that the character is not butchered further and that Suhana is not made to be running too much after Kamla and made dumb with all the lectures given by Kamla only.
Finally, if the CVs wanted to show new characters like Suhana and Aryan, they could have shown them instead of making Kalpana and Raghav die and this would be the story of two couples which would be loved by both the fans of Ragna as well as Asha fans. But they had a unique mind which makes both fan groups unhappy by mixing Raghav, Suhana and Aryan. 🤢
