After Kareena Kareena, Kulraj Randhawa took a long break. However, the actress has finally accomplished something she wanted to do for a long time — get a break into mainstream Hindi films.
Titled Jaane Bhi Do Yaaron, Randhawa's film will be directed by Sanjay Sharma, and will have Kulraj in the lead.
"Yes, I have signed the film and we start shooting soon. It's a romantic thriller, with shades of comedy. I am excited about the interesting story line, which offers me a chance to try my hand at comedy, romance and serious stuff, all at once." Home bird
Kulraj adds that despite getting loads of offers, she chose to wait for the right film project. "I didn't want to jump into anything for the sake of doing a movie. I was happy sitting at home, travelling and chilling out."
Commenting on her look, she says, "It's glamorous - just what you'd expect from a masala film."
On the television front she doesn't want to take on anything unless it is something different. Kulraj too has heard the buzz about Kareena Kareena being brought back for a second season. "Yes I have heard talk about it, but nothing official has been mentioned as yet." | |

Randhawa has recently completed a Punjabi film, Mannat. "It was great fun working on the project and shooting with Jimmy Shergill," says the actress. Asked if she had found love in her personal life, she says, "No, I am very much single. I really can't find anyone eligible and worth dating at the moment. Besides, I am on the lookout for good work, more than good men."
Rajeev's film?
Sources reveal Kulraj was also slated to act opposite Rajeev Khandelwal in his debut film, Goa to London. "Yes, I was offered the project, but was unable to do it due to date issues," she explains.
