Aahil's love for Sanam is more than skin deep

Even before her make over, while she wore simple Shalwar styles of multi coloured fabric and a long twisted braid, where she was not displaying the beaut that she is now, Aahil started falling in love with her. It started as an attraction and then grew to something more. Aahil was drawn to Sanam even as she stood hanging out clothes to dry, while she prayed and even at her worst, while she was ill. He was drawn to her. It was pure magnetism and he slowly started to fall in love with her. He kept his growing feelings a secret as he did not understand how he could feel this way. Then the time came where he felt as if he did not have the right to love her.

His dream became a reality when she became his wife. Yet, he still did not think he had the right as he believed that she belonged to someone else. Then they had to pretend they were in love. For him there was no pretending. He was hurt as he thought she married him for money. He vowed to hate her, and every moment he felt anger towards her, his love grew even stronger. The moment came, when his marriage was questioned. Fate played a trick here, for his true feelings and the confession of it is what saved him. Every lie he sold the lawyer, was a truth. And every truth echoed those qualities of hers that allowed him to fall in love with her.

Was it her physical beauty? Nope.

For Aahil, he said it was her simplicity, her independence, her dreams and hopes, her sense of right and wrong and her unfailing love of people. He boasts that she has a heart of gold. Sanam had no idea that Aahil noticed all these things.

There is no question on Aahils love. No Seher can come in between SAHIL. Seher may have the same face... but it was not the face he fell in love with.

After marriage, yes, her make over is exquisite. Her hidden physical beauty is now blazing openly and he becomes enchanted when he sees her. But at the end of the day, despite everything that has happened, first impressions, last and those qualities he saw that lead him to fall in love with her will remain with him forever.

I am looking forward tomorrow. SAHILs control of passion and hidden love cannot last for long again. Soon it will be bursting at the seams till there is an astronomical explosion and we, my friends, will be dabbing at the drops of sweat running down our faces caused by the heat radiating from our screens. 😊
