Jhukaa Aasmaan Part 10

All the saline bottles, medicine bottles and water jug everything, which were kept on the side table are shattered on the floor. His palm got hurt with the glasses as well as the needle which was inserted for dripping. Khushi and NK ran to him and dressed his wound. Tears rolling are down from Khushi's eyes. She has mixed feelings, happy for Arnav's movement, sad about Arnav getting hurt.

"What's the need to react like this? Why do you get this much angry Arnav Ji? Why can't you control yourself? Is this the way you behave in hospital? You are already suffering from so many problems, then why are you welcoming new ones? Don't you know being a diabetic, how much care you should take? Don't you know you should be careful all the time? What's wrong with you Arnav Ji?" she almost shouted. When she is took Arnav's hand from NK's hold, she felt Arnav taking back his hand. She held it tight, but still Arnav managed to take back his hand. "Fine if you don't want my touch, then I won't touch you. You just relax. Don't take much stress. And you better your control your anger" she gritted her teeth while saying last words. She turned to NK and said "Bhai... take care of him. Now I'm going to check other patients in children's ward."

"But Doll. You wanted to be here. Then why are you..." he stopped saying further with Khushi's words

"Bhai... here his comfort is more important than what I wanted or what I want. When he does clearly not like my touch, then I don't think he likes my presence here. So, I'm leaving from here. Please take care of him" with that she left from there.

NK turned to Arnav and sat beside him.

"I know what you are thinking Arnav Ji. But trust me, she is not mad. But she is madly in love with you. Haa, toda pagal to hain, but cute hain. Once you open your eyes then you can see her innocence. If she feels anyone as hers, then she will do anything for their comfort. And she never ever does anything which may hurt them. She is completely different kind of girl. She shouldn't be here in this cruel world. You know Arnav Ji... I knew her from years. When I was in my final MBBS she is in first year. Do you know how we met?" NK chuckled remembering those days. He continued saying "I won't say now. If you want to hear about her craziness about you, you have to wake up" NK took Arnav's hand in his and his voice changed into seriousness while he saying "seriously Arnav Ji, if you want to recover fast, you have to try your best. I know you are already doing that. But we need more. You have to take pain to come back to normal situation. It's already almost one month from your accident. If you won't try to move your body parts, it will be difficult for you to walk normally once you come back. I am not saying it's impossible. I'm saying it will take long time for you. And I don't think being a businessman you don't want to waste time which you already lost a lot. Please Arnav Ji... if not for your sake, at least for my Doll sake. She is really dying inside seeing you in this condition. Please try more. Try to open your eyes and mouth, and I will help you with your hands and legs. Please... we have to work on this. Otherwise it will be a problem. I think you understand what I'm saying" Arnav's hand grip tightened on NK's hand letting him know what Arnav want to convey.

"Yeah I got your message. Please try hard Arnav Ji. Sorry for not informing your family. Here police officials and doctors said it's not good for your safety. Today police came here and announced the arrest of the attackers but not their boss. They said, they will inform us when we can call your family. Khushi is trying to get your manager - Aman's phone number. She knows everything about you. But she doesn't have any of yours numbers. You know the celebrity thing. But if she started doing I mean started searching something which is related to YOU, she definitely will get. Don't worry. You have her. She will send you to your family - safe and sound. Till that time, please help us to bring you back. We need you, mostly Doll need you fit and fine" Arnav tightened his hold on NK's hand. Smiling little NK patted Arnav's hand and asked him to take rest and went to check with Khushi.

Arnav recollected what NK said about his recovery. He doesn't know surely, but have some doubts about his condition. As he already saw the persons who suffered with Paralysis in his family, he has some doubts about him. He wanted to ask, but couldn't. He also remembered NK saying about Khushi.

"But trust me, she is not mad. But she is madly in love with you" "She knows everything about you." "If she started doing I mean if she started searching something which is related to YOU, she definitely will get it" "Don't worry. You have her." "She will send you to your family - safe and sound" "We need you, mostly Doll need you fit and fine" He couldn't understand what's happening around him. He couldn't believe someone loving him to this extent. He can also sense her love towards him. Just few minutes back when she kissed him on his forehead, he sensed her love. And when he heard her saying those words "I can give my everything to him. If it needed my life then I'm ready to give that too" he doesn't why, but he felt his blood boiling. Suddenly he felt too much rage in his body and without his notice his hand smashed that bottles or whatever glass. He wants to know who this girl is. What her intentions are. What she wants from him. He didn't remember meeting any girl with name Khushi. Then how can it possible she knew me? Hearing whatever these two are talking, showing that she knows me well. I couldn't understand what to do' he thought.

He also remembered NK's words "If you want to hear about her craziness about you, you have to wake up"

"I will. I will wake up soon. I will try my best to see you, to know you, to understand you. I will wake up Khushi, for you I will" he thought to himself.

That is the day, when he started moving his body. He tried his best to get control on his eyes and mouth. He took help from NK along with physiotherapist in moving his hands and legs. He also sensed Khushi's love and affection growing more seeing his efforts. And he also noticed how she understood his inner thoughts without wording. She gave him what he needed at that time - moral support.

After one week from that very day, after a lot of struggle, Arnav now can open his mouth little and have his food through his mouth when Khushi or nurse feed him. One pleasant night when he needed some water, for the first time, he called

"Khushi".

Khushi, who is sleeping on her couch with the absence of NK, woke up suddenly by hearing her name. She looked at Arnav, who raised his hand for her. She couldn't believe that Arnav called her. She never heard his voice directly. For the first time she is hearing. She was on 9^th cloud with happiness. She immediately ran to him and whispered in the fear of she might imagining things

"Arnav Ji..." she whispered

"Khushi... water" tears rolled down on her cheeks. She bit her lower lip to control her sobs. She gave him water and sat on the floor beside the bed and cried her heart out in relief. She knows Arnav will be ok.

"Thank you Arnav Ji... thank you so much for coming back" he heard her saying. He can sense her smile in her cry. He kept his hand on her head which is near to his bed and pressed it little. Khushi took his hand into hers; rubbing with her thumb she said "Don't worry Arnav Ji. You will be ok. You soon can go to your home. To Anjali Ji... to nani Ji... to Lavanya Ji... you soon can go to your family. You will be perfectly fine Arnav Ji. I know that. I know that."

He felt a tug in his heart by hearing Lavanya name from Khushi's mouth. Selfless' he thought. He can hear only happiness in her voice. He knew the reason - her name from his lips. He couldn't take it anymore of her selflessness. Few drops of tears came out from corner of his eyes.

"Arnav Ji... please... I can't see you like this weak. Please... and trust me when I say you can soon go to your family. I will make sure of that. Don't worry Arnav Ji..." she doesn't like seeing tears on his face. She wiped those tears lovingly.

"Khushi... I..."

"Shh... don't... we can talk later. Don't strain yourself much. It won't help. As you started talking now, it will be better if you take little time to participate in conversations. It will be better if you go slowly. For now sleep, we can and we will talk later. Ok? Sleep"

"Khushi..."

"I will be here only. I won't go anywhere leaving you. Whenever you need me, I will be your side. Don't worry... Relax... sleep now" saying this she went to her place and lied down on the couch seeing the relaxed face of Arnav and drifted to peaceful sleep.

"I will be here only. I won't go anywhere leaving you. Whenever you need me, I will be your side" he remembered her words and felt his body and mind relaxed. "I trust you Khushi. And looking forward to have you beside me" thinking this he drifted into peaceful sleep.

Next morning, it's a treat to everyone's eyes to see the face of Khushi. Now, almost all staff members know about Khushi's love towards that accident patient. They all saw her struggling for his life, for her life. They thanked God for making this so called ASR normal. When NK came to hospital, he couldn't believe what he is seeing. Khushi is laughing with some nurses outside of Arnav's room. Sensing his presence Khushi looked at NK and ran to him.

"Bhaiii..." she cried hugging him tightly. Everybody shook their heads smiling.

"Doll... what's happening here? Am I dreaming? You are laughing doll"

"Yes Bhai... I'm so happy today. In fact from yesterday night... I am too happy"

"Oh... God... Thank you... Nice to hear that you are happy. May I know the reason behind this happiness?" asked NK

"How can you ask that question after knowing the answer Bhai? Of course, the reason is obviously Arnav Ji... he was, he is and he will be the reason for my happiness. You know that right? Then...? Ok leave it... I just wanted to show you one thing... come with me" she dragged NK inside the room. After entering the room she asked him to stand next to the bed and bent to Arnav. She whispered in his eyes "Arnav Ji... NK Bhai came. I just want to surprise him. Can you call his name? I mean can you try once... please?"

Arnav, when he heard her talks with NK outside the room, somewhat he guessed her next move, particularly when she said "I just wanted to show you one thing... come with me" controlling his smile, he said in low voice

"Hi NK..."

NK, who is concentrating on what Khushi is murmuring in Arnav's ears, heard him saying HI to him which shocked NK to the core. His eyes went wide and his mouth got wide open. He couldn't believe what he heard. He looked at Khushi, who is having tears in her eyes and smile on her face.

"Do... Dol... Doll...?"

She nodded her head and hugged NK tightly. NK smiled not believing. He hugged Khushi with one hand and touched Arnav with other hand.

"Arnav Ji...?" he whispered. He came back to his sense when he heard Arnav's reply "Yeah NK"

"Oh My God... Oh My God... Doll... Arnav Ji is talking... Oh My God... Arnav Ji... Doll... Doll..." he is unable to understand how to react to this situation. Suddenly he became concerned about Khushi thinking what her reaction was when she heard Arnav talking.

"Doll... Are you Ok? I mean when you heard him talking... are you able to..." he stopped seeing her nodding her head

"No Bhai... I was not able. I cried a lot in relief, in happiness. I just wanted to run through the corridors. I just wanted to... I don't know... I am too happy that time to notice what I wanted Bhai... Arnav Ji is coming back. He is coming back to his normal state. I can give him to his family fine and healthy. I am so happy Bhai"

"I know dear... I can see that. After a long time... my Doll is back." He tightened his hold on Arnav's hand and said "Thank you Arnav Ji... thank you so much for coming back. Thank you so much for giving my Doll back. Thank you..." they tried to make Arnav talk little more not stressing him much. They stood when they see Dr. Alex coming to the room

"Ms. Khushi... Whatever I heard, is it true?"

"Doctor... I'm the person who called you and informed you about Arnav. Then how can you ask whether it is true or not? Do you think I am lying?"

Dr. Alex can see the happiness in Khushi's eyes. He just wanted to tease her. He smiled at her irritation.

"Relax child... after a long time I'm seeing you this much happy full of yourself. I just wanted to tease you. Relax..."

She opened her mouth wide and huffed, making NK and Dr. Alex laugh loudly. Seeing them laughing she pouted and joined them with her heart relaxing smile. Dr. Alex moved to Arnav to check him. Khushi and NK move aside to make place for him

"Hi Mr..."

"Arnav..." Khushi announced.

"Hmm... Hello Mr. Arnav. How are you?"

"Fine..." came a low whispered answer.

"Good. Can you open your eyes and see? At least can you try?"

"What's the hurry doctor? It might hurt him" said Khushi in hurry

"Uff... Khushi... relax... I know... but he has to do that. Ok? Relax... let me do my work. Please... don't waste my time with your crazy blabbering" both NK and Khushi shocked to hear Dr. Alex this easy talks. They looked at each other and maintained silence. After checking Arnav, Dr. Alex announced that Arnav is perfectly fine. And he asked NK to take some tests for Arnav and asked him to show the report. NK nodded his head. Before Dr. Alex leaves the room, Khushi stopped him saying "Thank you so much doctor. If you wouldn't have agreed to my request, I don't know what I would have done. Thank you so much."

Patting her head Dr. Alex left from there. Khushi turned to NK and asked

"Bhai... which tests are these? Is everything normal?"

"Doll... Being a doctor you should know about these tests. I think you know about what tests are these. Don't you?"

"Yeah... I know but... Bhai... I can't help. It scares me when it comes to Arnav Ji. I can't trust myself here. That's why I'm asking you. Please tell me Bhai. Is everything ok?"

"Relax Doll... it's just a MRI for brain to check its functionality. Everything will be fine. Ok? Relax... I will check with the arrangements. You be here." NK went from there.

Khushi went to Arnav's bed and held his hand. Her hands are full wet with sweet. Arnav can feel her tension. He held her hand and said in a low voice "Khushi... relax... I'm fine"

For Arnav's surprise and shock, she sat on the floor holding his hand and keeping her head on bed. She cried silently thinking about the results of the tests. Her heart is beating with high speed, due to fear.

A/N: I don't have any fair idea of medicine. Please don't take anything seriously what I wrote/am writing/will write. It's just my imagination I am sorry if you feel I hurt any person (living or dead), medical student or doctors with these. I never have any intentions to hurt anyone. I'm just trying to write my fiction with ARNAV and KHUSHI with MY OWN imagination...))))

I don't know why everybody is thinking that Khushi has a serious disease. I never said that, did I? But I already mentioned about her trauma after her parent's death for what she is in under treatment with Dr. Jayson. So, dearies... relax... don't stress your tiny brains much. There will not be any serious issue for Arnav trusting Khushi. It's completely with his past. And here one more thing I want to clear ARNAV AND KHUSHI NEVER EVER MET BEFORE. THIS IS THE FIRST TIME. HIS PAST IS NOTHING TO DO WITH KHUSHI. So, relax... and enjoy the updates...
