There had been many instances in the show, where we saw this Golden Chalice in the show, the most prominent one being the one on the bench in Niranjan-Anjali bedroom, besides the notorious cane🤔.
Then there is this Golden cup again in Niranjan's study. I also found that candlestick interesting. It reminded me of the nursery Rhyme, "Jack be nimble, Jack be quick, Jack jumped over the candlestick". May be I should make another post about candles😛. For now I'll just discuss goblets and cups😊.
There are many other instances where we saw various characters drink tea or coffee from a cup. The most significant one I remember is of Jyothi drinking tea made by Sid, in a yellow cup at his apartment. I labeled this picture as "Healing Potion" then😛.

Significance of Chalice in Religion:
There is a Jewish tradition called "Passover", in which the father of the family fills the chalice with wine and passes it to the family members to go along with a meal of lamb and unleavened bread. This in the context of this show might mean Niranjan passing on his "traditions" or "ideas" to his family members🤓.
Jesus Christ carried out this ritual in the Last Supper, before he was crucified, to prepare for his passover, liberation of his soul. He predicts in his discourse that one of his apostles, Judas, will betray him and another apostle, Peter, will disown him thrice. I am not equating Niranjan to Christ exactly🤔 but just in the sense that he is the father and all his family members are his followers. So two of his family members may betray him🤔?!
Other meanings:
Chalice can also represent a vessel or receptacle, usually a womb in the feminine sense, that receives and nurtures new life. In general sense, our head/brain is also a chalice that receives knowledge, usually spiritual. It can also represent "Bowl of Hygeia", symbol of medicine and healing, derived from Greek mythology.
Inverted Chalice is a phallic symbol. It represents male sexuality. Checkout the picture below from 18-Sep-2013 episode.

I would be delighted if u compare him with satin or even Anti christ...😡😡
As you have mentioned I would love to see Shlok n Anjali as Juda n Peter resp as his betrayers. Juda who chose money over christ likewise I want Shlok to choose Aastha over NA. Anjali, an obedient victim from years should now deny him publicly like Peter though context differs.

Rekha...finally... Loved the post...
Chalice or goblet... Is more famous... With the idea of... Jesus christ and judas...especially christ's last supper... Where he shares his drink and bread... As spiritual knowledge...and tells that juda..and Peter will betray him...

Here if NA...is the giver of his gyaan...he gives it mainly to shlok...and anjali...means these two will be the ones who will counter NA. in his games against astha maybe... For good results...with NA's own gyaan.

It is also said..in the oldest testament... Jesus himself had ordered juda to betray him... As christ needed liberation...and Peter disowned him and out of guilt... Became the apostle of christ...in a way they both served christ more than others... For good...courtesy of national geographic ch...

Could it be varad too... And kaka is already against DADA in his own way...

Superb post...👏👏

Chalice is a symbol of Holy communion and the forgiveness of sin won by Christ's blood shed on the cross.

Can be possible,Anjali and Shlok will forgive NA for his sins.

Plz make more posts ,loved this one

Rekha,

thinking of you and wanted yr thoughts on 2 scenes in particular.

first up was when NA is sitting in his office and faces pawar, in the foreground, the candlestick with 3 lit candles burning brightly.

Behind his chair, were 2 figures of a horse - brown or black with saddles and leaping in the air, with forelegs raised ...

Pawar entered by pulling the fuse and casting the house in darkness. On his way out from the office, he bumps into aastha. then when he leaves there is light again.

I loved yr WU.
The two NA trusts most is Anjali and Shlok, so these two will betray him like et tu Brutus???????

Game has gotten more interesting now.

thanks elation. yup. Niranjan is not sacrificing anything for the humanity. he is doing the opposite
shlok and anjali are more attached to him than anyone else, so i too think that it may be them, who might betray him.
