This is Mine and Megha's ff...her concept..&..my writing š
Part 1
"Shilpa don't ruin your life...shasank and his family moved on they have no place for you ...you're not only dead in their life but also in their memory!!...viren is a good guy and he asked me your hand very sincerely...i can see love and care for you in his eyes!!..he will always value you" her masi tried to make her understand while she layed on the bed with her head in her masi's lap
Whatever she said was true...but for just once she wanted to hug her father calling her papa...be loved by her two sisters ...she wiped the lone tear which escaped from her eyes...she was not saying no to viren's proposal only because she was waiting for her family...but because the heart her masi was asking her to give to viren was long lost to armaan
"I need time to think masi...i have a lot of questions in my mind i need to figure it out before i get into any commitment" she said to her masi,..moving her head comfortably in her lap searching for the motherly affection she always missed
"Masi was i really the reason of mumma's death" she asked fearing to break down infront of the only person who still cared for her
"No princess...never smriti's death was an accident...and she loved you the most...whenever there used to be any fight between you riddhima and anjali...she used to side you saying ...you're the most little...and they should always protect and love you'' she said stroking shilpa's hairs lighyly...this little girl went through a lot and she was scare...what will happen to shilpa if something happened to her...she is getting aged...and the way shilpa is going she will be hurt the most...and those hurting her will not non other than her own family
She looked at her sleeping calmly in her lap...and remembered the little shilpa
Flashback
Shilpa was her bestfriend's daughter...she was a beautiful and kinda hearted child...in less time she was pampered by all..and for this reason she was always despise by riddhima and anjali...yet anjali used to be the eldest so used to play away from riddhima and shilpa but riddhima's mistake was always thrown on shilpa's head...one day while playing with riddhima's doll she removed her dress to give her a shower
But due to the wind the doll's dress flew away
"I'm sholly riddhi..ma di you can take my doll's dress " she said in her babyish tone while sobbing
"I hate you shilpa...who told you to play with my doll??..i will not talk to you till you bring my doll's dress...i want only that one..go away" a 5 years old riddhima pushed a 3 years old shilpa away
She tried to melt her sister but all in vain...tired she decided to move and try to find the doll's dress on her own...unknown to the outside world she managed to get through the gate and looked on the road...she was amazed by the big vehicles and was oblivious that it might be also dangerous...she moved forward...not noticing a car moving in all its speed towards her
She was shocked when she felt someone pushing her on the pavement...she watched people with her little eyes crowding around a lady who was lying on the road with red color all over her...she stood and watched the lady closely and recognized her to be her mumma
"Mumma why you are lying here??" She ran to her mom asking her innocently
"Mumma loves you shilpa" her eyes was full with tears and regret maybe because she was realizing she wouldnt see her darling daughter growing up...she pulled her down kissing her forehead lightly and little shilpa watched her mother growing numb unknown to what just happened
That night she asked all where her mother is...all had tears in their eyes...on not finding any answer she approached to shashank and enquired him
"Papa where's mummma??" She asked innocently and felt a stinging slap on her cheeks
"You killed her!!! Because of you...she will never be among us" he cried bitterly turning his back against his daughter
She was lying on the floor trying to think whats her fault...why is her papa saying her mumma will never be among them because of her???
She watched her papa leaving...and she ran to her sister
'Anjali di...where's mumma"
She too din't answer her...all she did was to give her a glare with her teary eyes and dissappeared in her room
"Mumma will never be among us now...and all because of you shilpa" she heard her elder sister repeating her papa's words in a teary voice
"But why ridhima di...shilpa did nothing too mumma...shilpa was a good girl" she started crying loudly
"No you aint good...thats why mumma had to leave us" she too left same as anjali did
She stayed alone and cried still questioning herself...but her mind was too young to get the answer on her own
Since that day all she tried to do was trying to cheer up her dad and remove the hatred that habored in her sisters and fathers heart for her
She did manage to decrease anjali's hatred but she couldn't do anything to remove the bitterness that grew with time in shashank and riddhima's mind
Riddhima was happy...shashank started loving her the way he was before shilpa's birth
But each rejection from them broke the little shilpa's heart and her hope of having them back
Six month after smriti's death...shilpa continued her tries...to manoafy riddhima...but it ended against her as riddhima complained to shashank shilpa was troubling her
Without asking for any justification from shilpa,..shashank decided to punish her by locking her in the store room...which was dark and unclean...when shilpa resisted he raised his hands on her forcing her in the store room
A broken and panic stricken shilpa...yelled from inside the room...crying...she was scare of darkness...she found a window open and ran out of the window...ran away from her papa as the fear surrounds her heart..she ran into an unknown lady's arm and fainted
It was her masi...she recognized the wound on shilpa's little body and knew it was the result of shashank's hatred,...she tried to make him understand shilpa wasn't of any fault in smriti's death but all in vain...she decided to keep shilpa with herself...in panchgani without informing the about her survival...and even shilpa approved the idea...she din't want to go back to her father...it took her a few times to make shilpa as normal as the other kids in the orphanage
What surprised her the most was...without looking harder for shilpa...shashank announced her dead
When shilpa grew up and asked about her family...she din't have any other option than to tell the truth to shilpa...and she got hopeful again to have her family again
Flashback ends
She thinks she did the worst mistake by telling shilpa the truth... she couldn't sit back watch her getting hurt daily by riddhima and shashank
The next day she got ready to leave for the hospital...and found her masi in the kitchen...she stood behind her hugging her and pecking her cheeks.
.."wish you could always be here in mumbai" ...smelling the food her masi cooked
'' and who will handle my orphanage??..now enough of joking...i came here only to tell you about viren's proposal" she turned to cup her face
" i know masi...i will think about it and tell you about my decision" she smiled at her...loosing herself in her arm's warmth
At the hospital
She made her mind to ignore armaan as she remembered riddhima scolding her the previous day...blaming her for armaan becoming the old careless guy
"Hey shilpa" he smiled at her standing at the nurse station
She felt her heart skip a beat as his husky tone reached her ears..."hello armaan" she tried to walk away and be limited to him...but destiny dint want that...she slipped and fell on armaan...and he caught her snaking his hands around her waist
He looked at her close eyes and chuckled...whispering "you're safe" in her ears
Her features were beautiful ...he thought...but smacked himself mentally for thinking about any other girl on seeing riddhima
He smirked as he saw riddhima angrily looking at shilpa lying in his arms."you still care about me being with any other girl riddhima and now i'm gonna use it to make you realize your love for me" he thought smiling at himself while shilpa thought confusingly "is armaan's smile for me???"
