Astha looked at Shlok in shock and immediately turned her eyes away while Shlok's happiness as well as anger was quite visible on his face... when Swati placed her hand on Shlok's shoulder...

Shlok... Astha...she whispered...

He nodded with smile ...this means Rehan is my... a small tear appeared on corner of his eye..

I think, I must go and clear all the misunderstandings those were due to me... Swati took a step towards Astha but Shlok held her hand pulling her back...no...not so soon Swati, first let me see how she reacts seeing me after years...

When Rehan cut the cake and fed all including Shlok and Swati and Astha didn't pick her eyes even once to look at him.

Next day, Shlok took the home address of Astha from Mathur and reached at morning.

He rang the bell of a big home and found Astha opening the door,

She looked covered with dust and hair was in a mess...she was wearing kurta and lagging as her usual dress...He looked at her from top to bottom and raised his eye brows at her disheveled, dusty state as Astha stood frozen staring at him.

"Hellooo Astha..." He gave her a lazy, satisfied smile.

"Shlok...?" Astha couldn't believe her eyes.

"What were you doing inside..? Rolling around in the mud...?" SHLOK asked with a smile leaving a stunned Astha to action.

"I...I was cleaning...What...what are you doing here Shlok..? Astha demanded him thanking her stars that Rehan wasn't home.

"Tsk..tsk..tsk..Is this how to treat your Ex-husband...?" Shlok mocked her playfully "Won't you even invite me inside...?"

"Of...Of course...come in..." Astha stood to the side to allow him inside with seeming reluctance.

"What are you doing here..?" Astha managed to squeak out.

"Aren't you glad to see your love...?" Shlok asked with a smile settling himself on the sofa while Astha sat next to him there...

Astha looked away "I..I..don't..I don't love you anymore..." she stammered through the lie.

"You don't...!" SHLOK pretended to be shocked "Wow...there goes my theory..! I thought "love" was forever..." he exclaimed shaking his head sadly "So sad Sweetheart...!Your "forever" had a pretty short life span.."

He whispered in her ears holding her from her shoulders lowering his mouth to hers in a kiss like he wanted to from the moment he'd seen her again.

Astha was shocked at this unexpected closeness, as Shlok didn't give her a second t think even...

It wasn't a gentle kiss by any means...It was the kiss of a man long denied...It consumed her, inflamed her and finally intoxicated her...Astha lost herself as Shlok's lips moved over hers with heart stopping expertise...She had no idea how it had come about, but when he finally dragged his mouth from hers, they were both lying on the sofa with Shlok on top of her...Holding her eyes captive, Shlok bent to her neck to all available area...Astha's head fell back with a moan ... Her hands had automatically moved to his hair pulling him closest... as if she was longing for the moment from years... every day she had imagined him around her in the house...every night she had slept hugging pillow making it feel like Shlok... and today he was there in her arms...she could not let him go... No... never...

But suddenly she remembered the past and reality checked her...she tried to collect enough strength to push him away.She closed her eyes, her voice little more than a whisper "Shlok, we have to stop this , please..."

In answer, Shlok untied the dori on her Kurta behind her, and his hands came around to caress her bare back...Astha lost her train of thoughts again as he smiled with satisfaction at the glazed look in her eyes.

Astha bit her lip "We can't Shlok, you have to stop...stop doing this..."

"Doing what..?" he asked still kissing her throat.

"This...Touching me...kissing me...we can't do this..."

"Astha... Shlok's seductive words were like a caress...But I still love you and want you to love me again...he smiled...

Shlok, please...she tried to move away...for God sake you are married now ...to Swati... Astha pleaded...

Swati? Marriage? He thought for a moment and a naughty smile appeared on his face listening her...of course...i am married ... but I don't mind filling empty space in your life... he winked at her...and in Rehan's life... his expressions were changed...

He slowly pulled back from her and stood up tucking his shirt properly. You hid his presence in our lives from me...why? he held her shoulders...

Because...i didn't want to disturb you and Swati's married life...you two belonged to each other... I wanted you both together...

O...so imagined yourself everything? Didn't bother to talk to me even once? How could you take my right to love Rehan, play with him? to give him father's love? No Astha, you were wrong...he shouted at her...Now I will take him away from you...forever...

No Shlok...please...don't ... I have just Rehan, nothing else...Astha was crying...

What...what should I do now? Astha was crying badly...

Astha sighed and held her hands aback..i promise Swati...I will not stay back in shlok's life..i will leave as soon as waiting period of our divorce is over...

Don't you think, Shlok will agree? I am sure, he is in love with you now... Mujhe to wo bhool sa hi chukka ha...tears rolled over Swati's face...

Doesn't matter what he wants...Astha assured her, agar main hi uski life se chali gyi to wo kuch nahi kar payega...

I kept my words, in spite of so much love with him, I moved out of his life and settled here, I left my parents too even because I knew they will again force me to marry to start life and I can't...Astha sighed...and the only happiness was when after two months of our divorce I came to know I was pregnant... That gave me new reason to live, new hope to life...and I started my own business...when Rehan entered my life and everything changed in last six years... Use hi maine apni zondagi bna liya... Sab kuch usi ke liye...i show him pics of his nanu nani, dadu, dadi but never showed him pic of his father ...he asks but I never...

Now its time to talk to Swati , its time for he rot payback...because i can't lose last hope of my life...
