j - "Viren, I'm going upstairs to my room. Need to finish packing whatever I have"
v - "Oh, I'll come with you"
j - "No you sit with everyone else. I need to call mom and dad also"
v - "Okay, call me if you need help" he said smiling to his wife as she excused herself from the dinner table.
Jeevika walked quickly to the elevator and went upstairs to her suite. She was feeling restless, and just not herself. Not knowing what was bothering her, she entered her room and changed into something more comfortable. Coming out the bathroom she saw the bed all made with rose petals all over. She hadn't seen rose petals on the bed like this since her first night with Viren as husband and wife. It did change the mood a little, and her frown switched upside down becoming a smile.
j - "Only Viren" she said to herself knowing that her husband was the only one to do and think of something like this.
Jeevika walked inside the bathroom to freshen up. She opened her mini pouch and looked inside to grab the kit. She wanted to take it, but if she saw it negative it would kill her inside again. She pondered over the thought, there could be a chance, but then again what if there was no chance. She sat down on the bathroom floor putting her head down on her knees confused. She wanted it to be positive more than ever now, especially now after learning Manvi was pregnant. She envied her, hating to admit it. All of a sudden she heard the door to their suite opening. She quickly got up and hid the kit and wiped that lone tear coming out of her right eye swiftly.
v - "Jeevika? Where are you?"
Jeevika quickly came out the bathroom and saw Viren waiting by the door.
v - "You changed? You liked the rose petals?" he said blushing
j - "Of course! Everyone's gone to sleep?"
v - "Not exactly. Veera and Armaan have gone out with some friends. Virat and Manvi are downstairs going have some coffee"
j - "Why don't you go join them?" she said walking towards the chair where her bag was.
v - "If I joined them... who would join you on this beautiful night, in this beautiful room, on this oh so romantic bed?" he said picking up his wife swiftly into his arms.
Viren carried Jeevika to the bed and placed her down gently taking no time to get next to her holding her tight in her arms. Jeevika lay comfortable on his chest while he slowly strolled his hand in her hair.
v - "You're so beautiful" he said looking at her face.
j - "Viren we should sleep" she said looking away still
v - "On these beautiful scented rose petals? Don't ruin the mood"
j - "I'm cuddling with my best friend right now, nothing gets better than this" she said finally looking at him.
Viren kissed her forhead and hugged her tighter.
v - "So if you had to rate me in order from best friend, boyfriend, husband, then how would you rank me?"
j - "Uhm best friend first, and then boyfriend and husband tied"
v - "Really?" he said rather surprised
j - "Yeah. See when you're in my best friend mode then I can be whatever I want whoever I want. Husband ehh... you need some time to get better 😆 and hum boyfriend well lets not even go there"
v - "I was not a bad boyfriend. I took you partying on the weekend, arranged romantic dates, took you to your favorite concerts"
j - "Yeah you were a good boyfriend also. Now you rank me"
v - "Mother, girl friend, and then best friend"
j - "Mother?" she said sitting up feeling a little shocked.
v - "You act like my mother, Veera's mother, I think we would call you Mother Jeevika you know like Mother Teresa?" 😆 he said trying to crack a joke.
j - "Haha not funny" she said sarcastically... "So girlfriend before best friend huh?" she said wanting an explanation.
v - "Yeah cause when you're with your best friend you can't do this" he said pulling Jeevika closer to his face. Her head was aligned right with Viren's face giving him the perfect angle to kiss his beauty. As soon as his lips touched hers, both their eyes shut. They took in a dream of its own.
Jeevika broke away, feeling happy. She was awestruck. She didn't know how, but he still had the charm to make her feel like a teenage girl who was just asked out by her crush. Or just the way it would be when a girl meets her celebrity crush, nervous but excited.
Viren knew that the mood was set straight, and he didn't waste another minute to get in her arms again.

7 am bright and early Jeevika woke up knowing she had a flight to catch today. She embraced her husband who was still lying asleep next to her pecking a small kiss on his cheek. Following that she walked upon the door that allowed her to catch the beautiful view of the ocean. The noise of the water was so soothing, and so calm that she wished she could just enjoy a cup of coffee standing there. Knowing she had to not give in to her desire, she went back inside and to the bathroom getting ready as fast as she can. Whatever stuff she did have she quickly packed. When she went outside she saw Viren making two cups of coffee.
v - "A cup of coffee, with extra sugar and little milk... just the way you like it" he said handing it over to his wife.
j - "Thank you" she said kissing him...
v - "I'll go get ready quickly and then we'll leave"
j - "Okay" she said smiling.
As soon as Viren left, Jeevika heard a knock on the door and she went to open it. She saw Veera standing out there smiling.
j - "Why are you awake so early?" she said smiling looking at Veera
vr - "Wanted to see you before you left" she said coming inside.
As soon as she entered the large suite she saw rose petals all over the place which made her laugh, but happily.
j - "One day I'll be laughing at you too. Me and Viren both" she said to Veera knowing why she was laughing.
vr - "I feel at this speed both my brothers are going to make me a buas fast, huh Jeevika bhabhi?"
j - "Don't count on that as of now" she said smiling.
vr - "Don't you feel like having kids now? I mean after the big announcement last night. I was shocked because I always thought you would be first"
j - " I do, but you can't have kids when you and your husband are living in two different cities"
vr - "True, maybe we should kick bhai out of here for sometime and make him move with you"
j - "You wouldn't last a week without him, you know?"
vr - "I would. I wouldn't last a week without you though!
j - "Awww. Why don't you fly in with Viren when he comes to visit me"
vr - "I don't want to ruin your moments together. I'll come for a getaway with Manvi when we need a girls weekend. OMG or we can have her bachelorette party there. Let the guys stay here and we come there!"
j - "Sounds perfect to me" she said high-riving Veera.
vr - "Are you going straight to work after you land?"
j - "Yeah. Won't reach home till late night. And that to an unfinished home home. No food in the kitchen, no bed spread, no soap, no nothing basically"
vr - "You should just stay in a hotel for the night then"
j - "Maybe I will. Got your brother credit card number memorized now. Not a bad idea" she said smiling.
