Hey guys so I started writing a FF on my two new favorite couples SaHil and Abhigya. RaHa and RaBul are in it too :) Neither lead couples are married here and are at Asma and Rehan's wedding. Rehan is not interested in Sanam. Hope u guys enjoy the preview :) If I get a good response, I will continue. Enjoy! Here is a sneak peak ;)

"How can someone be so rude and insensitive", Pragya said blinking back tears as she huffed into the room. "Kya hua? Did someone say something to you?" Sanam looked up her as beautiful black eyes lined with defining kohl shined with concern. She stopped curling her cousin Asma's hair and walked over to Pragya. Pragya looked at Sanam through her glasses and blinked a few times. "Why do some people say things without caring about how much they hurt the other?" "Kuch logon ki fitrat hi aisi hai. They cant stay without insulting or demeaning others", Sanam exclaimed. As she said this a face flashed in front of her eyes. Just like the Jallad Jin she thought! Two months ago when Sanam had gone to inspect a new land for her family's restaurant business, she had an unfortunate run in with a terrible businessman cum rake who had no respect what so ever! Chee why was she thinking of him on such a happy occasion. Shrugging off the terrible memory she looked back at Pragya who looked miserable. "Ya Allah, Im so sorry Pragya appi. I dont know who misbeheaved with you. Rehanji said only his close friends and family would attend the gathering tonight. All outsiders would come next week. The dinner tonight is for our familes to get comfortable before the wedding. But--- Im so sorry. I dont know how---" Asma looked worried. Pragya immediately wiped her tears and smiled. "Asma itna fikar kyun karti hai? Tu mujhe appi kehti hai toh phir! Jaisi Bulbul vaise hi tum aur Haya ho... mere behenen! Waisi bhi I know who he is. Im just suprised he is a lowlife of this level" "Phir bhi kaun hai yeh badtameez. I want all of us to be comfortable and what if he misbeheaves again" Asma tapped her fingers against the dresser. "Arre dont worry! Hum hain na usne nipat lenge. Plus Bulbul aa rahi hai do din mein. Agar hum paanch ho saath toh kya hai fikar ki baat!" winked Sanam and looked at Haya who suddenly had a very mischievious grin on her face which worried Pragya to no end. Sanam smiled on the inside. This wedding was going to be one roller coaster ride!

This is interesting. I like it. But maybe can you leave space between the speech and text because it's a little hard to read.

Ok so instead of giving direct character sketches... I am going to provide all the background info and relationships between the characters through the thoughts of the four main characters Abhi, Aahil, Sanam and Pragya. So its kinda like a long prologue with very few dialogues. The first part will start with the interactions and dialogues between all of the characters. Then each chapter will be much shorter than this lol The side characters are Rehan, Asma, Purab, Bulbul, Rahat, Haya, Faiz, Suresh, Dilshad, Begum Sahiba, Abhi's daadi, Pragya's mom Sarla, Rehan's parents (not Tanveer here) and Asma's parents. Sounds like a lot but its mainly SaHil and AbhiGya lol I just didn't want to leave out anyone who might even have the slightest hand in uniting these two couples lol here is the boys ;) the girls as well!

Abhishek Mehra:

Abhi ignored the slight wobble underneath him. Just three more flowers in place and he was done. He felt ridiculous. His fans would surely crack up if they saw him like this, atop a stool with flower garlands around his neck as he was hanging them along the wall. Abhishek Mehra aka Rockstar Abhi and flowers didn't go together. He usually didn't even gift flowers to his girlfriends. For Abhi flowers seemed like a awful gift that somehow made most girls giggle with delight which he never understood the rationale behind. It was gonna wither anyway. He preferred to give them gifts that could actually come to use, especially for special moments. Abhi smirked to himself. But at a wedding it was not safe for a guy to walk around doing nothing especially with all the aunties running around. One of them handed him a bunch of flowers and sweetly asked him to help with decorations. Now he could have easily sneaked off and threw the flowers to the corner as if he had never seen them but he had one little weakness. That was guilt. Abhi could not handle guilt at all. He would have felt horrible for sneaking off like that. Imagine if his daadi had seen him do that. So far Abhi had managed to stay away from his adorable old lady and her gang of matchmakers. Abhi knew he needed to be careful otherwise he would be hitched next. It already disturbed everyone that Rehan being younger than Aahil, Rahat and himself was getting married while they remained single. Every time Abhi's daadi wanted to get him married he sneakily pointed to Rahat since he knew Rahat was perfect husband material. Abhi himself, enjoyed his career and dating Tanu too much to tie the knot so soon. Tanu unfortunately could not make it due to an ad shoot and a part of Abhi, the mean side was kind of happy. He could not enjoy his bachelorhood due to his nagging girlfriend. When it came to Aahil, his many girlfriends kept him busy. But he was also on daadi's target list. As for the annoying flowers, what was the harm in helping. Since the dinner and all the rasams were happening at Aahil's hotel, everyone was called to check in here. Hence, the hotel needed to be dressed up to look pretty. The engagement would take place at Rehan's house and the wedding at his fiance's ancestral home. But one thing Abhi couldnt understand was the last minute decorations. What had Rehan's family been doing all week. They could have called on Rahat, Faiz and him for help. Rehan was Aahil's younger cousin and them being Aahil's best friends would have not so happily helped out. Abhi's younger brother Purab, on the other hand was enjoying a work and holiday trip with his new girlfriend Bulbul. Purab was into the one woman man concept and planned to introduce her to daadi soon. That was bad news for Abhi since the matchmaking would just get worse from then on. But nevertheless, he was happy for Purab and excited to meet Bulbul who was apparently a big fan of his music. "Remind me again why flowers are necessary for weddings", Faiz complained in a whiny voice. Faiz was Rahat's younger brother and patience was definitely not his thing. "Faiz stop complaining. You just started. We have been doing this for hours," Rahat said rolling his eyes. Faiz was a few years younger than Rehan who was the same age as Purab. Abhi and Aahil were exactly the same age and Rahat was two years senior to them. The three of them had gone to the same college in Delhi although Aahil, Rehan, Faiz and Rahat lived in Bhopal and Abhi and Purab lived in Mumbai. "I will be right back," Rahat said as he slowly got off the stool and walked off towards the refreshments. Rahat was the most responsible and level headed amongst all the men. He was a little quiet but women loved his silent yet gentleman aura. Abhi on the other hand could not understand how one could stay quiet for so long. "I want a drink too," Faiz exclaimed and before Abhi could say anything he rushed off. Damn it guaranteed Faiz was not coming back. Abhi looked at the nearly complete decorations. He needed a break too. Aahil had disappeared a while back and didnt return. Abhi was a little worried. Aahil was acting strange for the past week. At times he would be his sarcastic and fun self and during others he would seem like he is present but only physically. His mind wandered in some other world. Abhi wondered if everything was ok. After what he had discovered two months ago, Abhi knew Aahil needed time. He sighed and silently prayed for things to become normal again. He looked around to see that all his friends had left him. Abhi pouted and then rolled his eyes. Once he was sure that the last flower was secure in place, Abhi looked back to admire his work. Everything was fine except for that one corner. He leaned up a bit to fix it when he felt the stool slip from beneath his feet. Instead of steadying himself, Abhi leaned backward. Bad idea! He panicked as he feel himself falling so he closed his eyes. Worse idea since he missed the fact that he knocked someone with his arm and both of them went crashing to the floor.

Aahil Raza Ibrahim:

Indian weddings were a hassle and Aahil Raza Ibrahim was glad he had no one to drag him to the alter. All his girlfriends were well aware that the relationship was going to be fun but would not last long. Aahil made sure he went out with girls with similar thinking as him amd not the die hard romantics. Thankfully there are enough girls out there looking for fun and not clinging for love. He would not be able to deal with the guilt of one sided love. Love is an feeling Aahil could not afford to have. He could not drag an innocent into his life knowing that he cant offer any happiness. Aahil tried to ignore the harsh tug he felt inside his heart. He didn't deserve to be loved nor could he think of having a family. Though he had to admit, Rehan and Asma's love story was intriguing and he was happy to find a new friend in Asma. After all friendship was all he had. His two best friends Rahat and Abhi meant everything to Aahil. They were his only family and his biggest support. They had been with him through his best and worst. Rehan, Purab and Faiz also added the much needed brightness in his life. He couldnt imagine life without them. Aahil hated attachment but his two best friends gave him something to keep him in one place. Of course their families never treated him any different and always cared for him. Rehan was probably the only reason why Aahil kept in touch with his so called family. He could not let any family politics get in the way of him and Rehan. He enjoyed being with them and thats probably why he had no complaints about helping out with the wedding. But perhaps something about the overtly happy and jolly atmosphere made him realize the emptiness in his life. Everyone had a direction in life but where did he belong? The constant children buzzing around him and the rush screamed out and mocked him. It blatantly pointed out where he stood... Lonely and without anyone to turn to. He couldnt even start a family. The scars ran too deep and he couldnt imagine why any girl would want him as the father of her child or even as a husband to be with for a lifetime. Why? Not all questions had direct answers. Just like how Aahil never understood why his father hated him so much! Just the thought of his ways of punishing Aahil as a child send a chill down his spine. What had he done wrong? Why was it so hard to move past it all! He had people who cared for him then why did he feel so incomplete! Aahil knew this was not the time and place to think like this! He looked at the hotel, his hotel Jannat Palace that he worked so hard to run. Although his father's property was his by name, he wanted something of his own! Something that wont remind him of his horrid past. The hotel was his pride! The fact that Rehan chose it as the venue to lodge the guests and complete the many events involved in the wedding made Aahil smile. His friends always pitched in to help with this hotel. They put in as much work as him! Abhi would occasionally hold concerts, Rahat would bring his clients and the younger bunch made the hotel their hang out spot. Maybe life wasn't all that bad! As he was walking back towards where Abhi and the others were decorating, he heard his phone ring. He pulled put his phone and stared at the name flashing on the screen. Not today he begged to Allah silently. He clicked reject. A few seconds later it rang again. He sighed and accepted the call. "Yes" Aahil droned. He rolled his eyes as the voice went on and on. "I will be there next week". He shut the phone tight and just stared at the wall. If he hadn't retained some self control over the years he would have slammed his fist into it. Aahil felt the noise around him fade and any bit of life that was in him... diminish. Suddenly he felt exhausted. This happened each time she called. His mom... no his step mom. The one he had trusted the most in the entire world. The one who had made sure she killed every last bit of his humanity and happiness. Flashes of his childhood threatened to take over. Aahil swallowed back the lump in his throat and tried to push away the image. Her betrayal made everything worse! All her love and concern had turned out to be fake! His own father had given him a childhood of abuse while his step mom used her fake love to steer him in the wrong direction during his growing years. Only he had been too stupid to understand that all her love was for his money and not him. After finding the truth two months ago, life had changed completely. Though he still didn't let her know that the truth was no longer hidden, he planned to soon! Aahil wanted to end all of this once and for all! But it hurt knowing the truth. Now calling her "ammi" was painful knowing that word meant nothing for her but had meant the world to him. She meant so much to him. Only Allah knows what prevented him from becoming a monster. Perhaps the few good influences in his life were send by Allah to prevent him from becoming destructive. But he was still destroyed, scarred and blackened on the inside. Something that would never change. Aahil had managed to recover... Somewhat and used girls, alcohol and parties to distract himself. But the wedding atmosphere creates a strange feeling inside of him. If only his ammi cared. He can explain it to the world and even to his mind that he was fine. But his heart knew he wasn't fine. Aahil finished his drink quickly and walked in the opposite direction, away from the rest and towards his room to get some time to himself before getting ready for the dinner tonight. He prayed that he wouldn't run into anyone. But when he literally collided into a girl who was rushing down the hall and barely got to apologize before she ran off, he laughed at himself inwardly. When was he ever that lucky. When were his prayers ever answered!

Pragya Arora:

Pragya Arora looked at the mirror one more time. Damn now her bindi looked as if it was too far right. She took it off and tried to fix it. Now too much to the left. When was she ever gonna learn to wear a bindi perfectly on her forehead, where it belonged, between her eyebrows. It was always either too left or right. She fixed it and sighed but then smiled. She looked happy, except for maybe the lack of a twinkle in her eye. She adjusted her glasses and smiled into the mirror. Every since she broke up with Suresh smiling was painful but tonight she was happy. Her sister Bulbul's best friend Asma was getting engaged and since Bulbul could not make it on time due to a delay in her conference, Pragya came earlier than planned. She was happy since Bhopal was home to her best friend Sanam. Her friend, philospher and guide. The person she could call 1 AM and vent out all her anger without any complaint on the other side. Pragya couldn't imagine what she would do without her. Sanam knew of all her fears, insecurites and dreams. They had met during high school and have been best friend since then. Even after Pragya, Bulbul and their family moved to Mumbai, they kept in touch. Bulbul was best friends with Sanam's cousins Asma and Haya. Both Sanam and her were extremely similar unlike Bulbul. Bulbul was more of a true romantic and Pragya believed in love that develops after marriage just like Sanam. Actually thats a lie. Love, romance and passion once had some meaning to Pragya but now, well she was just glad to stay away from all of it. Asma and Haya had always been most beautiful ones out of all the girls. Asma is a beauty with brains but she never lets all that attention get to her head. For her nothing was greater than family, friendship and love. She is simple, soft spoken and elegant. Haya, although she could not hear or speak, never let that get in the way of anything. She was classy yet adventurous and always full of life. She was bold yet innocent. Pragya admired her courage. Sanam and Pragya always treated the younger ones as their own sisters. Pragya truly adored Asma. Of course after tonight a small share of her love would also go to her new younger brother Rehan. Not that Pragya didnt adore him already but he would officialy become her brother in law in a few months. Rehan was a complete sweetheart. In today's generation to find someone so softspoken and a through gentleman was rare. She prayed Bulbul would find someone equally kind. Rehan had met Asma on a family trip to Delhi. Rehan Quereshi is a firm believer in love and commitment just like Asma. Although he is not the love at first sight die hard romantic, he always believed that love would come his way. As fate would have had it, Asma came right in his path. An only son, Rehan is a mamas boy. But thankfully, his mom loves Asma. She is the one girl with whom he has found what he had been missing all along, love, passion and independence. As it always happened in films, they crossed paths a few times after realizing they like one another a lot. After three months of courtship, Rehan proposed and Asma said yes. The family adored him and now Rehan Qureshi is well on his way to join the madhouse encompassing the entire Khan family as well as their best friends the Aroras. Usually Pragya hated filmy love stories but she had to admit Asma was lucky. Love didnt usually come easy.

Sanam Ahmed Khan

Now what was she missing. Sanam Ahmed Khan looked around the room, found nothing out of place and looked back at the mirror. She fixed her hair one last time and left her room to go downstairs to go to Asma's room. For the engagement party Sanam chose a cream colored net anarkali with a red dupatta with gold embroidery and simple pair of jhumkas. Minimal makeup and the smile adorned her face. Sanam loved the feel of her favorite fruity flavored lip gloss over her lipstick. She made sure to carry that in her clutch. Sanam's only favorite makeup was lipgloss. Otherwise makeup was not her thing. Instead of killing her back with high heels, Sanam opted for platforms. As she always said, comfort over everything. Her hair was curled slightly and its length covered the back of her anarkali and elegantly fell over her shoulder. She kept choose to wear red and gold bangles on her right hand although she was certain they would bother her while eating. Typical party problems. She sighed, satisfied with her look and started carefully down the stairs. Halfway down her the stairs her hands flew to her neckline and she cursed silently. Thats what she was forgetting. Her necklace! Sanam always made sure she forgot nothing as she suffered from extreme OCD. But on such an important day she had done it! Now this would bother her all day. But Sanam was already late and she had to help Asma dress up for the big dinner tonight so she decided to keep on going. Maybe Asma or Pragya would have something for her to wear. Since the wedding was taking place in their ancestral home, which was her grandfather's last wish, Rehan's family insisted on hosting the engagement party at their home in Bhopal which was also her hometown. Asma, on the other hand lived in Delhi with her parents, Ejaz Khalu and Nikhat Khala. Sanam's best friend Pragya's family had arrived a week earlier from Mumbai and helped do all the shopping. Sanam was so thankful for the extra help. Tonight was the big dinner at Rehan's cousin's hotel. Sanam was so busy setting up her new restaurant, an addition of the family restuarnt that she barely had time to meet Rehan's family. She had met him and one family friend Rahat a few times but she was excited to meet the rest. Especially Abhi the rockstar!!! Sanam gushed thinking that Rehan's cousin was best friends with Abhi and he was coming to the dinner. Sanam tried not to fangirl too much. She was dressed in her own style which her opinion was perfect so why would she need to impress him any further! The dinner tonight was perfect to meet everyone and make sure Asma was going to be related to the right people. The hotel, Jannat Palace, the Khans and Aroras had checked into last night was beautiful. It gave her a soothing feeling. Rehan and his family as well as friends were already present. Everyone was going to stay here and finally move to the country side at their ancestral home in two weeks for the wedding. Till then all the rasams and parties should keep everyone busy yet in a fun mood. Haya was excited about Asma's little bachelorette party. Asma was dead against the idea but Haya insisted. Sanam shook her head, her cousin was so crazy and wild at times. As Sanam was turning the corner to Asma's room she ran into something hard and nearly fell but two hands steadied her. Before she could look up the stranger mumbled sorry and walked away. Sanam looked at the man walking away curiously and felt a strange sensation creep up inside her. He seemed familiar. She smacked her head playfully at her silly thoughts and walked towards Asma's room. Her life was awesome!
